Banished at Simtropolis

I seem to be the most active Banished player over at Simtropolis so I thought I'd post a the links here

I've also got a club which didn't actually start off with Banished stuff in it, originally it was set up when I was shutting down my website and I needed a place to stick all the things that couldn't be uploaded anywhere else on Simtropolis and then it sort of expanded

and finally the most recent is actually in the SC4 Showcase board called "Show us your Banished Villages" and I've been posting pictures of a walled city I'm building

The site has different attachment limits and cos I'm a long term member my picture storage area has a 1000mb limit on it and I've only used 250mbs of it so far and as I've been storing pictures in it since I joined the site back in 2007 I don't think I'm ever likely to run out of space

Thanks and yes the bannies really like the forge of dwarves walls, am planning on posting some links pointing people back to this site I don't know that it will get any more people posting here ... but every little bit helps

Was having a rummage thru my computer's banished folder looking for the mod that switches off chimney smoke, have posted a couple of pictures over at simtropolis which shows why, anyway I've got a folder in there called "Colonial Charter" and it looks like its from the original site as its all the information on the colonial charter buildings, etc

Trying to attach a screenshot of the brickworks not sure if it will work as the last time I tried to attach a picture I got a weird error message, which it turns out I'm still getting

"The attachments upload directory is not writable. Your attachment or avatar cannot be saved"

@catty-cb   Since the problems with site a few years ago, we cannot upload avatars, mods in posts, or much of anything.  To post a picture, it must be uploaded to the gallery first, then ad link to thread.  All old pictures in threads and blogs that were not posted in the gallery first are now lost.

It would be nice to have more members posting pictures of their settlements, the image thread was very popular, everyone likes looking at Banished pictures.

Thanks for that information I knew the site had problems a few years back, but didn't realize the problem still existed ... anyway have tried uploading a picture into the gallery and that seemed to work ok, so next step is to see if I can add picture into this post
