Title: How can I bind a certain menu item to a key?

I use a lot of ghost tiles with sandstone in my current game, it would be helpful if I could assign it to a key.
I tried looking this question up, but got lost in all kinds of different topics :P , so my apologies if this question has already been answered somewhere.

I am rather sure it is not possible to bind one kind of tile to a key.  I don't think we can bind any game item to a key.
