I quite like the vanilla gameplay mechanics. I've played around with RK's new update and find, for me, it just takes some of the base mechanics and makes them overly complex.
In the meantime, I'm looking for mods that only affect the visual part of the game. RK's mod has some beautiful textures, but alas the mechanics aren't for me. I guess I'm looking for RK's mod without the added mechanics. If anyone can help me out I'd greatly appreciate it.
I do find RK's mod very nice and beautiful.
Many of the mods in the download section do not change the game, but are just changing what buildings look like. Kid's mods don't make changes to the game and his buildings don't need the extras such as glass, lumber, bricks, etc.
