Red looking Creamey v 1.0

http://worldofbanished.com/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=159 (http://worldofbanished.com/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=159)

This is a request from Abandonned :)

This is an alternate, red wood looking creamery (red and white).
This mod add :
Red Creamery building. 9x8(+1 road) tiles. and cost 48 wood and 12 stones to build.
New profession : Dairyman. Dairymen take milk and make cheese, cream, butter and yogurt.

Cows (which are different from the ingame Cattle). you can buy those from a merchant.
Milk (Cows drop milk but not cattles and will drop half beef when killed to compare cattles as set up in NMT)
Cheese, Cream, Butter, Yogurt are processed products from milk by the dairymen. (all these are EXACT same files as NMT and CC).

Enjoy !

NB.: You will get conflict with NMT and CC because this mod contain an EXACT copy of all dairy products files that are in the NMT and CC mods. so dont worry.

-----------------------------------

Version 1.1 : changed names of all files from "RedBarn" to "RedCreamery" : WARNING it can be non-compatible with saves with version 1.0 !!

The creamery conflicts with the North mod's redbarn. I found a copy of it in the food production instead of your model. I guess it's the name.

Turis is right, I just checked the Red Creamery with the Red Cottages mod (because Red Cottages has the red barn from The North).
Whichever one is higher in the load order will over-ride the other mod.
I agree with him, I think the problem is from the use of "red barn" for a name.

Oh no, @Turis and @TheOtherMicheal , we would certainly want to use the new red creamery with the North and the Nordic separate mods without losing the red barn in those mods.  I hope there is no problem with the Colonial Houses red barns and fenceless pasture.  The red creamery would look a little out of place without some of the other red and white pieces.

@RedKetchup, is it possible to easily rename the mod to red creamery or red dairy?  It is such a beautiful building, would be a shame to not be able to use it as much as possible.

i am doing the change from "RedBarn" to "RedCreamery" everywhere, in all the files.

but WARNING, you will need to destroy all "redBarn" in your map before making the switch. even that , not sure it will be save compatible. use at own risks and perils.

the new one will also have a different .pkm name : RedCreamery.pkm you will have to uncheck the other one and check the new one (but if problems about crashing and being save compatible, you can maybe check if keeping both of the mods can make you pass the crashs if happends)

i am testing the new RedCreamery.pkm presently.... and if all good, i will upload it and replace the old one.

the transfert to "RedCreamery" done. i dont see problems, but i dont have an old save to see if compatible. like i said , these kind of changes are rarely or never compatible.

but i dont release it right now before i found a bug. i have no idea why, i triple checked everything and i didnt see anything : butter pots on the ground are never being pickup. when the 4 create spot on the ground are filled... they stay there and the dairymen are going afk , never picking up the butter bucklet on the ground.

i even took the cheese pot and renamed butter pot ... and still arent picked up :S
mysteries :P mysteries :S

that stupid non-edilble item with the vanilla barn not accepting the non-edible items !!!
it was always been a such of a problem!

to avoid conflict with the North and the Nordic mod. Please delete and destroy all old Red Creamery before switching version (or keep both if there is switching crash)

@RedKetchup I love the vibrancy of this!  :)

2 questions (I am a pain, I know, I'm sorry, I'm very enthusiastic these days) :D
1)  Is there a way to make a mini version?
I have @kid1293 's smaller fenceless pastures with my 4x4 footprint (the cows don't produce resources, but they do look cool :)), and I would love a small dairy to go with it.
Think of it like a little hobby farm, I do have the animal pen mod as well, and I am building a small home hobby farm.  (I personally do have a sheep here and we're looking at a couple of alpacas & chooks later this year).

2)  With the dairy output/input, and this was inspired by @tanypredator and her new wild bees, can be produce a 'breakfast'?
milk -> yoghurt; yoghurt + oats (blueberry, raspberry etc) + honey => breakfast bowl
OR  milk + yoghurt + honey + (oats, blueberries etc) = > smoothie
With the addition of the tropical greenhouse some of us have we could make banana smoothies :D

I was thinking of stopping off at the Market BBQ thread and requesting bacon & eggs :D :D :D

It's breakfast time for me here, hence the morning munchies, lol.

Thank you :D

No, not "have to" :)  Just ideas, throwing around a few things that I can see with the Dairy mod.
Would love them, but certainly not a game breaker for me, not having them.  :)

I have got some questions and some ideas
1.Is it possible to add dishes such as eggs, ketchup, cheese, etc. Great idea to add a few products to the dairy - such as cottage cheese?
2. milk -> yoghurt; yoghurt + oats (blueberry, raspberry etc) + honey => breakfast bowl  [Posted QueryEverything ]

3. Small wooden butcher who would fit the wooden different houses? It is the butcher of bricks that do not fit into wooden houses

a) Small butcher or a small bazaar where you would get the various parts of the animal dry as sirloin, loin, dewlap, ribs, loin, beef / veal / lamb neck, chicken breast and legs, wings, steak, beefsteak,
b) offal - kidneys, heart, liver, tongue, stomach
c) Further processing as dry sausages: ham, gammon, salami, steak, tatar , black pudding, sausage hunter, etc
4. Small greenhouse Household - where you can grow vegetables in the winter?
It was nice to add a new food, because it is very much .które products are not used in "Banished"
I have a personal request, if there is a possibility  single mod  - berries ?- as strawberries or raspberries? Needs berries in the box to mod "the North" - please .
Thank you for your attention
