Hi Guys !

We finally got news today about Luke and ShiningRock Software :)

He said he has finally chosen what he will do but didnt clearly said what ^^ but said that 65% of the code from Banished is getting reused....

Looks interesting. Guessing it's not technically a "Banished" sequel?

I doubt it will be a Banished 2 although I hope it will be.
It can be about anything from medieval to futuristic. Hopefully Luke some later just tell us what the new game will be about.

Almost fell out of my chair when I got Luke's tweet the other day!  Really excited to see what he's working on when he's ready to tell us.

Got me back tinkering around with the game a bit, too.

pathing ... thats interessant.

i think i need to do something about... this Banished 2D pathing.  it would be cool to have a real 3D pathing.

It's exciting, but I think he is missing a massive opportunity with the current Banished to really tweak it out.

I also had to smile at this point. He had already written somewhere how chaotic his game code was at the beginning of developing Banished. The way he describes his progress sounds pretty honest and self-reflective. Very pleasant qualities these days.
