by default it is a 3000 mhz cpu .... but i use the default optimizer of the AiSuite3...

it put it at 3643Mhz and my temp stay very low at 30-39 C

check the meter to the right ... all those cores !! hehe

yeah thats a big beast for the next 10 years

i ve got alot of hiccups unfortunatly cause i was not prepared i needed to make a start install disk for my windows 7 with my USB 3.0 drivers preloaded.
i've got no mouse and no keyboard ^^ not easy to install without those lol

and i had to make a copy of my Motherboard drivers on 1 of my harddrives

And yes those little fan connectors you have to be careful with. I have 4 on my ASUS MB and double cross checked with the manual when I did my upgrade.
Now fresh install of what you need and you are ready to rock 'n roll.

my 3dsmax 2016 took usually around 1hrs15 mins to install... took me yesterday 10-15mins total lol

Glad to see you got it worked out, @RedKetchup .  I've had a similar problem before, myself.  And congrats on the upgrade.  I'm planning to do one myself in the next couple weeks.

I hate when things don't work, but luckily I have a personal service guy. My son is very good at such things! A reason to put children into the world!

NEW UPDATE ! :

i am presently since yesterday night ... in the process to switch my SSD128GB to my new SSD256GB
i also take this opportunity to transfert/unpartionning/re-partionnning an old HD 500GB that i use for Banished/Games/zProgram. It was split in 3 partitions : 1 for warcraft, 1 for banished-games, and 1 for zprogram (all program installation disks). I made 2 partitions now, 250GB-250GB. i dont need anymore the warcraft partition. ^^ also a nice format in 5 years can't be that bad.

after i need to reinstall my 3dsMax2016 and my Photoshop(CC) on my C:\ and make them get the speed increase benefit from my new SSD256GB
