I was eating some mulberries right off a tree, just yesterday afternoon.

And here, finally, are the large-leafed lindens.  I personally thought the nearer one was not planted deeply enough, but they are the experts.  *cough*

May you live long enough to see them grow! Last year we planted a "Haskap" berry, cross between a Saskatoon berry (Excellent taste, very hardy) and something else I can't remember. Since it was bred by the U of Saskatchewan for their climate it already has berries on it here. Similar flavor to blueberries, which don't get ripe in these parts until late July (Wild blueberries in August) and really want a more acidic soil than we have in our yard. We're thinking of putting in at least one more. They are a nice compliment to the raspberries with which we've lined our back fence.
