Kid - Westward Ho - The Wagons! V1.02

V1.01 - Fixed a crash with Wagon Master.
V1.02 - Fixed hunter and gatherer menu.

This is only wagons and deco from Westward Ho mod.
Good if you want to use other start conditions.

No new start conditions.
No change of terrain, no grass.
The forester tent now plants/cuts vanilla trees.

And yes, don't load both! It will mess up the menu!

So, I loaded this and started a game.  First thing I tried to build was the Wagon Master. My game crashed.  So then I did some testing.  I kept disabling mod after mod, until all I had left was the vanilla game and this mod.  Wagon master -> Boom.  Crash.  As soon as I placed the building.

Also @kid1293 , I've noticed that whenever your mods are loaded, the cart on a hard start does not hold firewood.  So, in your mod with the little red, blue, and green houses that you recently updated with a couple of aged wood textures, that also suppresses the ability of the starting cart to hold firewood.  Any idea what's going on there?

I checked and I think you found a nasty bug @Goblin Girl !
I used the files provided from other modders to set the new limits and obviously
the storage cart does not hold firewood according to them.
I will look at this and fix it as good as I can. (never thought of something like that)

I don't know how many mods I have to change because of this. It will take time.  :(

@kid1293 I just retested Westward Ho Wagons only and tried to build Wagon Master wagon.  My game froze up.  I do not recall if I tried to build it on previous test, maybe not since I had to problem with freeze up then.

Yes, I can confirm Wagon Master crash. Will test more  :P

Storage cart is connected to files I got for displaying new limits. The file for storage cart
did no longer have fuel flag. It should. I changed in Westward Ho and that error will be fixed.
If you have another of my files above, there is a risk those still will have the error. I am on it.

I can not pinpoint the Wagon Master crash. It hasn't happened before.

As I often do with new mods, I started a game and activated Debug, so I could build a sample of each building for free, to look at what they do.  Wagon Master was not the first thing I built.  I can't tell you how many things I did first, but maybe three or four.  School, chuck wagon, hunter tent.  Then Debug let me build the Wagon Master, and I was able to open it, then the crash happened.  At that time I still had a few other things loaded (ok a lot of other things), so I figured it was a conflict. 

But, what I did see in the Wagon Master interface was coats, tools, potatoes, firewood, logs, stone, and iron.  But I didn't have the last four.  Could that have anything to do with the crash?

And another Mod with using the exact same New Limit Files provided by kralyerg above yours and still no firewood in your cart I think.
Top place wins.
Why fuel was omitted I don't know as I was absent in those days the modders talked about the new flags setup but we go with those files from the start of the extra 10 limits Luke gave us AFAIK.

If fuel have to be added about all the modders have to add fuel to the storage cart file and recompile them all and re upload all of them to avoid problems.
Not something I look forward too as I quite have a few mods and will take me forever. The fix is easy but recompiling and uploading them all is another matter.
Red has the same files too I see in his sources so he has to redo all his mods too. Other modders probably using krals files too.

Easier to just add a small stockpile for the firewood to your startup conditions?

I fixed it in Westward Ho V1.01 and will check Wagons too.

No problem because about all the start conditions have a stockpile I think so it was never a issue the fuel was omitted from the cart.
Red had it with his Editor Choice and added a stockpile to store the firewood.
I never looked really at the files and because it was always working I not see the fuel thing.
So what is the fix going to be? Adding fuel to storage cart or add a stockpile?

I noticed this a while ago, @embx61 .  In fact I mentioned it over at Black Liquid as a problem in the release version of Megamod.  But then I did some testing and the missing firewood was only a problem when Kid's or your mod was above megamod.  As it happens, your individual stockpiles in your latest set also crash the game.  I *think* I mentioned that over here.  I'll bet you it's a conflicting flag problem, just like Wagon Master.  Unfortunately, heaven knows where else the bug may be hiding. 

And @brads3 it has been happening for a while.  I thought it was intended so I never mentioned it.  I figured modders can alter the game as they please, and my job as a player is to like it or lump it.  I wish I had said something months ago, though.  Could it be that I'm the only person who consistently uses a hard start, and that's why nobody else noticed?  Surely not.

I not do anything with start conditions in none of my mods.
Did dome testing and had Ho underneath one of my mods what have the limit files without fuel flag and the cart of Ho had firewood in it.
It seems the game not overwrite the new limit files as it seem to me with my mod above HO it should not get firewood in the cart.

So some files get overwritten depending on load order and others not? O well, it seem to work if some limit files have fuel and others have not.

What mod is it that the piles crash?

and hope there are no other serious problems.

The fault was all mine. I removed code for nomads but forgot one paragraph.  :(

@Goblin Girl - Thank you for alerting me so fast!

About storage carts. I have changed the code in both these Westward Ho mods.
I think it is something we have to live with. I will be aware in the future and replace old code.
But until then... :)

I haven't used this mod but I usually use a hard start. I have noticed that some mods have firewood from the start, other mods doesn't. I never had a crash and never saw it as a problem.

Checked after updating mods, seems all right. Tested without new embx61 mods. Tried to get out of the game and Crash.
So the mods in game seems to be all right.

But Crash at boot banished still have.

is there a minimum limit to the nomads? i used a 10% tethering post. population is 12 but got 6 nomads.

I am sorry @brads3 , I have checked and it is 10% nomads.
Min and max is 10%. It has always worked.
And yes, the button calls the right file...

Why you get 50%, I don't know.

oddly in year 5 i got 3 nomads. your nomad well would do increasingly larger groups over time.if i refused the nomads for 4 or 5 years the next  group would be smaller sized. i will try to make a mod order adjustment. thank you for the info.
