The design of this building is very nice, absolutely yours @embx61! I also like that it's big! I guess about the same size as the vanilla boarding house. I don't mind all small buildings, but I want to have larger alternatives as well!

I indeed use 3 textures quite a few times the last couple of months for some buildings.
I like those textures and I guess it shows

After doing a couple of land bridges for QueryEverything and some small updates on the irrigation channels (Archimedes Screw what fits in the river/lake) I plan to create a set of 4 houses (F key) with some of the same textures and roof shape so they fit the boarding house.

The houses will be the same size as the wooden Vanilla houses.

Start later today on the Doctors house and then a 4th house.

They look good. Are they finished? Because number 1 and number 3 in that pic look like they aren't casting enough shadow. The area in front of the door has sunlight on the ground even though it is under the roof.

You could make another variant out of Number 3 (the one next to the vanilla house) simply by taking the attic windows off. It looks good with them but it would still look good without them.

They are almost finished and they still need a plane under the porches so the shadows are cast better.
Some little touch ups, building stages and the AO mapping is not done yet either.

Yes, the fourth house going to be easy as indeed I remove the dormers from house 3 as not all the houses had dormers.

If I remove the dormer from house 1 and 2 it will be a 6 variant set

As things are going smoothly I think I going to add a small wooden chapel as well to the set.

So 6 F key variant houses, boarding house, doctors house, chapel for a first release should do.

I can leave the boarding house separate in the download section as I not think anything has to change but am adding it to this set as well.

Under the roof by the porch it was still open.

That is why I think the shadows were off.

I put a plane under the porches to cover those holes and that should take care of it.
