Hello everyone!
When I saw the game featured in a Game Informer magazine, I knew it must be mine. I went to the Shining Rock Software site and purchased a direct download. After spending nearly every waking moment on it for a week, I realized this game was delightfully addictive, fun, and it had something special to it.
The best way I've been able to describe the game to others who hadn't heard of it is this:
1. Survival middle-ages Sim City with artistic flair
and
2. Banished is to Sim City what Demon's Souls is to Paper Mario.
Anyway, I just had to be part of both forums, express my love for the game, and contribute toward the community of others who also fell in love with this game as much as I did.
Glad to have you here! We all agree, Banished is great and Banished players are a great bunch of people.
