Title: Hey Modders! Thanks for all you do with your..
Post by: jodost on July 25, 2018, 05:54:39 PM
awesome programming skills! ;D Your enhancements to this great game are much appreciated.

I've had the game since 2015 and after a brief hiatus playing other games, just got back into it and must say I'm impressed with its re-playability. I'm looking forward to trying out some of the mods especially the Colonial Charter which adds an overall story to the play.

I haven't become familiar with the total catalog of mods yet, so please bear with me if the following suggestion already exists. What I'd like to see is a Population Demographic page that lists the numberS of Bannies by age so the player can know how many are at the threshold of advancing into the next Child/Student/Adult category. At points when those population shifts (i.e. dreaded Die-offs and the eventual return to growth) are about to happen, I want this Demographic break-down so much that I resort to clicking from house-to-house looking for students on the cusp of graduating.

I don't know if this is even do-able, but I'd sure like to see it.

Thanks

welcome back to banished :)

unfortunately, nothing along these lines can be made in mods.... you will have to take a pencil and papers and set your statistics as you wish. thats the only way to track families.

Thanks for your reply, RK. Yeah, I was afraid of that. I guess something like that could only be done in the game code itself and there's no chance of that happening at this point. :(

I do have a few questions (not mod related), so I'll post them in the General category.

BTW, I saw you mention on another thread that you're from Quebec. I'm another Canadian player from Ottawa, so (my French is not so great, but here goes) merci bien pour vos grand efforts.

Actually - being an original Beatles fan from the 60s - I've got tickets for the September McCartney concerts in both Quebec and Montreal. Really looking forward to that!  :D
