I wondered where people go in markets. Does food come from one place and iron from another? That would affect the best orientation of a market, so I ran some tests.
It appears that there are 5 places in a market where people may go to get or deliver goods. The particular place apparently is randomly selected. So the orientation doesn't matter much.
