I've been following this one for a while and it looks very interesting. Should be a good mix of city building and weirdness.

This game is out now (in "early access" mode) and from what I've seen and read, it is similar to Banished except with some combat (fighting fishpeople!) and specifically set in the 18th century.

Might be right up some Banished fans' alleys!

I found this to be a revealing quote on the game's home page: "When you were a kid and you built with Legos, eventually you build something up and you knock it down because there's nothing else to do." I still build with Legos, and I have never resorted to that. Sorry (not). ;D
