Title: BRAD'S SETTLING OF AMERICA SERIES 4: Foxfield
Post by: brads3 on October 25, 2020, 05:35:28 AM
good morning,
i am back. computer repaired and added 1 GB RAM.thankfully i had a lot of files backed up but lost the map and most files for this year. to get Banished sound to work ,i needed to load a directX installer for the windows 7.keep that in mind if anyone has issues at some point.

mod order is pushed,114 mods,96% memory. load time 3 minutes. this has a lot of KID's new toys installed. it is a combination of RKEC,DS IND,and CC J still.recovered the mod order from  Elbergen  and added to it,then dumbed it down a tad. there is a slight issue with the older rowhouse mod covering pieces. those KID did upgrade in another mod,the workplace mod i believe.they show dot icons under the RH icon and have a funny floating part to them. just don't use those from the RH mod.minor glitch.

we will start with  a super large map and go til the game crashes out when it hits the limit. main goal is to test and take a look at some of these new toys by KIDD.

map- Foxfield,468751123,valley no dirt,very large,fair climate, disasters off,medium 2 start-1 seed,1 orchard,and 1 livestock
squash, blueberry, and longhorn cattle plus we do have KID's farms

we have 10 laborers with 11 children. the plan is to split this team, half into a Indian village north of the mountain and half as settlers.1st we'll plant the seeds and clear a pasture.the Indians planted the 2 sister crops-corn,squash,and beans. then we began work on houses and storgae. a hunter and gatherer.
even a chief's hut was completed before it snowed.

YEAR 2 and 3

the indians added a seamstress and tool smith.they also planted  tobacco. the settlers built another barn closer to the pasture.they all have been busy clearing the thick trees. the logs were used to build a fence for the indian village.the trees are so thick it is tuff to see and work on this map.

YEAR 4 and 5

i want to highlight KID's Native Village mod before i add anything else with it. we need to clear trees so we can see. a 2nd workpile is setup by the main barn. hopefully this will give us enough space. a 20% nomad sign will bring more settlers soon.

the 1st  nomad group arrived. they are a couple with a teen daughter and 6yr old son.they buuilt an Old Towne trading post along the river.the Indians will allow us to trade tobacco and we have plenty of logs to cut.

the village added a medicine man and burial site. the medicine man works as a herbalist. housing was built for 2 teen workers.

YEAR 6 and 7

the next group of settlers arrived. there are only 5 of them.they bring news that there are more settlers being sent to this region.their orders are to store supplies. 2 markets are built. 1 small CC market and a Nordic wharehouse. they take stock of the resources nearby.

the next group of 7 settlers brought chickens and pigs.1 couple was tasked with making tools and clothing. the settlers improved to iron tools made from the iron ore.

YEAR 8 and 9

the original settlers have children that have grown.they built another large colonial house. the supervisors wanted a tavern to make cider. a White Swan tavern will supply cider.they also built themself an office.
we are gaining on getting the cleanup done.

YEAR 10 REVIEW

population 54,in 15 houses <combination of Teepee's,longhouses, and colaonial houses>. other than the wise elders school and a fish pier, the indian village built all the pieces from KID's mod.the outer walls are from CC.

the tobacco patch produces more than the fire tent can process. i was concerned that it might fill and slow or stop the processing. the cured tobacco flags as luxury and is only being stored at the fire tent. the Swan tavern didn't  move any. even with the trade post moving the cured tobacco, the fire tent did not improve its output. not an issue just backwards from what i expected.  had figured it would take 2 tobacco patches to supply 1 fire tent.

the Indian Village mod functions well.other players have mentioned that it mmight not be historicallly accurate. i think it is more flexible than that. the US is quite huge compared to many other countries and as such is very diverse. there were many different types of Indians that adapted to their different environments. using other mods that KID has made, you could use this mod to build many other villages. for instance, use the horses he has done with the teepees for the plains indians.thatch huts from the FO mod for the pacific northwest, swamp mod for the southeast.

the settlers expanded. they began stockpiling supplies for future nomads. the next set of nomads will help expand more farmyards. as more settlers arriive, they will build a city across the river. we will use the land to the east to showcase KID's many farmyards. as the Indians multiply, they will expand northward around the lake.

goals for the next decade-much depends on how fast the bannies work. we need to improve trading and start getting seeds. if the bannies can build fast enuf,i'd like to take the next 2 groups quickly. if the builders get behind, then the nomads will have to delay their arrivals. as the population increases and more children grow up, taking the nomads every 3 to 4 years does work better.

4 groups should arrive over the next 10 years. we will need 2 schools and work to clear more land.

YEAR 10

10 settlers arrived before summer.6 adults with 4 children.they have orders to cut marble from the mountain between the settlers and Indian villages. this will give us a valuable trade good quickly. 1 couple will expand the farmyards.the 3rd couple will work to clear land and setup a DS work yard.this will cut lumber and give us a few other options.

with 2 farmyards growing potatoes, a pig shed can now be fed. the Indians added a wise elder school next to the medicine man's hut.during the winter the builders extended the roads and built a DS covered bridge across the river.

YEAR 11 and 12

13 settlers arrived to begin building the city across the river.10 workers with 3 children.to move supplies, a Slink industrial market was built. then a post and general market. the settlers stayed in the guest house while more houses were constructed.
the doc set up an office and the the school was finished. a farm trade post will help bring seeds and livestock quicker. it can be stocked with the marble.with so many items, the merchants seldom bring seeds to the general markets.

the following year, everyone got moved out of the guest house. a wood cutter and storage were built.the town has  a tailor and fish pier. a CC candle shop will use the beeswax.

one of my goals is to build different buildings with KID's new set and see how they look. this will give some differnt looks at several mods together.

the farm trade post has already acquired 3pigs and cucumber seed.

YEAR 13 and 14

our farmyards produce so well,we need more storage. a large DS fruit and veggy barn was built.

the colonial city continued to grow.17 more settlers arrived and built a church and townhall.11 adults with 6 children.they built 3 shop houses along the river, sweats, homegoods, and a deli. then they cleared a "close to the edge" pasture that will give the pigs acess to the water.thwe pigs will be happy to play in  the mud there.

1 couple begins clearing land north of the colonial city to grow fodder for livestock.another has dug a stone and salt mine.

we traded for stew and oat seeds. we also have CC tobacco seeds.

we take a year in between the nomad groups to restock and open more up land. another farmyard was added to the start village. several fields have been planted. the shop house owners cut pork chops and preserve fruit jam. the bannies planted flowers near the townhall.

they traded more marble for veggy seeds.

there are 3 large families staying in th guesthouse.they move west of the meadow to work the forest. a KID forest is set up with its storage.a hunter and gatherer work nearby.the city built a bakery and several houses have been completed.

we trade for tomato and strawberry seed.

YEAR 18 nd 19

this will be a good year to check our stocks and build houses for graduates. food is improving.with the new forest, logs and firewood should also.we do need minerals, more beeswax for candles, and to increase trading.1 general trade post gets many CC merchants. to increase our odds of getting needed supplies, we will need another soon.

the Indians are multiplying slowly. 2 teepees are built.they already have 2 hunters,a hunter plus the hunting grounds. another worker is sent to help gather food.the start village built a large colonial house and planted another farmyard.they sent out a 2nd worker to help bring in beeswax and honey.

the merchants brougt root, corn, and grape seeds. the colonial city coompleted a trade post.it will stock rare feathers and more cured tobacco.

YEAR 20 REVIEW

population 208,85 workers and 24 stuyudents;in 44 houses. we took in 4 nomad groups. a total of 60 settlers. this dropped our food reserves while we expanded. the Indian village to the north has grown slowly. time was spent clearing trees around the village.the start village has added more farmyards and trades marble for seeds and livestock.

a colonial city was started across the river. it has pushed its northern borders with a KIDD forest and a RK fodder meadow. they build several shop houses.the citizens process meat, make jam and bread, and make candles. they have 3 markets to keep the bannies supplied.

our trade posts have brought us pigs and leghorns. we have cucumber, veggy, tomato, root, oat, corn, strawberry ,grape, and tobacco seeds.

we haven't had any serious issues. we did expand far enuf and fast enuf top slow down our firewood production. there has been mixed marriages that slowed the growth of the Indian village.

NEXT GOALS- the bannies demand another church.  the old church is full and i do think this slows our woodcutters down. we need to work to keep the 3 trade posts supplied.we also have plenty of seed to get planted.

taking nomads every 3 or 4 years works well. it does give us a chance to catch up supplies and give the bannies time to build houses for graduates. we should have 3 groups arrive.the city should add a lot of processors. i've built workshops to the theme of the shop houses from KID's set. the deli makes pork chops, the sweets makes jam.we need furniture for the home goods shop, meat dryer for the sundry, and EB's leather shops for the cobbler.

hopefully, the Indians will find time to expand more onto the island in the lake.we won't grow as fast as the last decade, but should double our population.

YEAR 20

a 5% nomad sign is set by the mayor's office. the bannies decided to deal with the crowded church situation by adding a jail at the colonial city and a CC stone chapel across the river,

we made some good supply trades with the marble and cured tobacco.we also gained blackberry seed.

17 settlers arrive in late spring,6 families. 3 couples clear and plow fields. the others helped haul in logs and build a meat dryer.1 couple dug a RK random quarry to bring in more iron ore.another couple will process the leather. an RK water tower and EB leather tannery are completed.

we traded for sugar beet seed and goats.

YEAR 23

our school is full of students. we built a school near the stone chapel. there are several teen males that arrived with the nomad groups.more houses are built. a sawmill will help increase our firewood supply. we traded for sheep.a sheep farm yard from the animal shed plus mod set will supply wool for boots.this 1 needs fed thatch. we also built the old town sheep shed beside it.behind them is a pasture.

the indians built another longhouse and planted a 2nd patch of the 3 sister crops.

we finished fencing the sheep.2 more workers are sent to the RK quarry and a workplace toolsmith is built. the laborers quickly searched for more iron ore as well.

14 nomads arrived in summer.11 workers and 3 children.they will work to cut more logs. another forestor is built west of the KIDD forest.  3 more plymouth houses,a hunting tower, and a gather hut are also completed.

the colonial city added a 2nd bakery to make nut bread. they now have a post office to deliver messages.
a pasture was fenced to move the goats beside the sheep.

trading has brought in food, tools, and logs to help us restock.

we take the year to expand the farmyards. we have a third of the set planted around 1 barn.these will boost our food and firewood outputs.5 small colonial houses add to the start village.

the colonists needed a 2nd sorter for the veggies. they built a beekeeper to pollinate the crops.

YEAR 27 and 28

the farmers and foresters to the west need a school.as construction began, 11 nomads arrived in late spring8 workers and 3 children..this group are Indians and will move to the island in the lake.

CC did upgrade the Native Indian mod set.i have the older 1 that is included with the CC Journey.it will have to do. just means less of the hut styled houses. the CC J, Indian buildings require arrowheads to upgrade and use them. Triangle's small tipi's will house the group. from the mini mod, storage, fishing piers, and a small food market are built.

the new indians built the CC wigwam and teepees. they planted the 3 sister crops.

the start village has been busy building more houses. now they work to plant more farmyards. they built more storage and added some granny parks.

the colonial city has been busy also. the salt quarry needed dug deeper. more houses were built for graduates. since they have a bank, they built a placer mine for gold ores. a Pilgim's Rest tavern was completed to make root beer. there is so much pork, a wood butcher will help cut more chops.

YEAR 30 REVIEW

population 355, with 172 adults and 109 children,in 77 houses. we took in  3 nomad groups adding 42 bannies. a 75% increase in 10 years.  we have traded for plenty of seeds and livestock. we do hope to trade for some milk cows.

the city has grown. it has doubled it's mining and forestry. the city processes leather into boots. a new tavern makes root beer. meat processing has increased.it now has a jail and post office.

the start village expanded. 12 of the 18 farmyards and over half the animals pens are completed. it also needed a school and church. the Indians located another tribe on the island in the lake. i do wish i had the upgraded CC native mod for there.

with this mod order, the bannies always show full hearts and stars. the happiness sytem from the DS IND mod does have some hidden affects that the charts never show. the bannies hate crowded churches and will strike. i do believe the DS happiness  mod coding has other affects that are subtle. the bannies seem to use more firewood in their houses. we never have enough logs for firewood thru the winter.the firewood limit maxes by fall.the laborers continue hauling in more logs before snow falls.

NEXT GOALS- we have enuf graduates for 9 more houses and about 20 jobs. we will have to slow down accepting nomads.   the colonial city needs more forests for more logs.it also will need a larger church and school.the city will see lots of grow th in the next decade.

i'd like to finish planting all the farmyards to the east. trading needs adjusted and improved now that we have enough seeds.

YEAR 32

the north farms extended to the new forest by fencing a pasture. hopefully soon, a merchant will bring dairy cows. some of KID's animal farms do require feed. a fodder meadow is cleared to the south of the trading district. a small trade post was built for the colonial city. it will move excess inventory. candles, some wool, seedlings, and marble. once we aquire dairy cows, the farm trade post will be obsolete.

KID's flax gardens aren't included with the farmyard mod but are handy. the flax is used to make paint and linen clothing. 2 flax gardens are planted. 1 will grow the flax, the other processes it into linseed oil.a paint shop will make paint from the linseed oil.

the bannies continue working hard but we remain 10 houses short.

thank you ,KIDD.
BANISHEDANNI, the garden produces flax. this flax works with KID tailors to make linen clothing. with different mods this is the 1 way to have the right flax for those tailors. i have 2 sets of  the western houses that go with the ghost town mod. KID was kind enough to make a rustic looking version.

most of the houses on this map are KID houses from various mods. the plymouths for the forest workers are from RED,and there are a couple  EB farmhouses too. the 3rd forest has CC log cabins.

I see :)

I really thought u said it for roleplaying since I myself sometimes claim buildings to be something they arent to make em fit into my village blogs. For example the bed and breakfast boarding house I claimed to be a kindergarden in poppyglade (since there is no such thing in the game).

But u told nothing but the pure and innocent truth! ;)

YEAR 33 and 34

the Indians continued expanding onto the island. they added a mini workshop to make tools. they bundle reeds from the lake to heat their tipis. a nearby apple tree provides fruit and honey. they extended the dock along the lake and planted rice. they hunt ducks, fish, and gather berries and herbs on the island.

the bannies planted the rest of the farmyards. there are more of the animals sheds to build yet. more houses and storage has been constructed. they added a flower garden to the village parks.

the colonial city built 2 more SLINK markets to move more product out from our barns. the marble fills the barns since it is still under an older limit flag, as textiles.

i more wish it would respawn on its own and have less flowers. the fodder you see around the villages is flowers only. fodder dies off after a few years.

there is a fodder addon mod,if you don't use the RKEC. there is also the Nat Div mod which gives a different looking grass. it won't work with the RKEC without giving up the wild animals.

YEAR 36

now that we have paint, the bannies start on the colorful painted houses.these houses from KID's Ghost town set do require paint. a gem cutter and a smaleter are built for the gold ore and precious gems.

the bannies worked on the colonial city center. planting a flower garden and set tables and benches for town picnics. the school added a playground. a jam shop and a furniture joiner were completed as well.

a merchant finally brought milk cows, and the farm trade post is now shut down.

YEAR 39

tobacco fields were planted between the city and production village.since we don't have ropes for the CC cure barn, a fire tent works nearby to dry the tobacco leaf.

the Indians continue to grow on the island. they built more grass huts,no these don't require thatch. the dock extended and they sent more bannies to fish and collect reeds.

the farmyard settlers finished the animal pens from KID's mod.they built several of the houses. there are some workshops with the mod yet to be built. we do need to clean the area up. the bannies have started to clear the trees.there are a lot of wildflowers that hide the gardens.

YEAR 40 REVIEW

population 554, with 68 students and 200 children.there are 131 homes. we are growing too fast to take nomads. we traded for the dairy cows and shut down the farm trade post.

the bannies added  a 3rd forest and a 2nd fodder meadow. they have produced paint, fancy furniture with some hardwood that merchants have brought, jams, and some tin.  the colonial city expanded to the west. it now  includes a production village.

the Indians built farther onto the island. they grow rice and collect reeds to heat their tipi's and huts.the start settlers completed planting of all the farmyards.the animal pens were also finished.  huge gains over the last decade but we still have a long ways to go.

next GOALS- we will need to adjust and expand trading to handle any excess materials or items.we do plan to can pickles. soon all the buildings for KID's animal shed plus mod will b built and there is lots of cleanup around the farmyards to be done.I would like to build several factories and get much of the cleanup for the city done as well.

we adjust the trading post stocks. then build a larger trade post.it is needed to handle the heavy marble.
a hardwood forest to supply the furniture shop will plant behind the mining mountain.a hunter and gathering hut will work this area.the bannies live in CC cabins and have some storage from the pine mod.

the bannies have started a major cleanup of the flowers from the farmyard area.

we'll make an attempt to boost the log output by some of the foresters. a FO. chuch, sauna, and school are built to help keep the workers happier. they are putting out 120-150 logs each.

the Indians needed bridges since banished doesn't allow them to use their canoes. 2 DS rough log bridges will assist their travels. more huts are built and more workers sent to hunt and fish.

the farmyard village added some stone fences to their farmyards.

YEAR 43

while the bannies cath up fromo a tool shortage, i'll highlight these farmyards and gardens.there are 18 farmyards to the set. these give a variety of goods and there are several different sizes. there are 5 animal sheds, houses, and workshops with the animal plus set. these pens do need to be fed. KID also made some animal pens that do not need to be fed. the flax gardens are part of KID's Ghosttown mod. this flax does work with his tailors to make linen clothing. 1 of the Granny parks does produce walnuts.and the Gothic Farm mod has the beekeeper that gives honey, apples, and beeswax for making candles.

since the gardens are hard to see with the flowers,i used CC ghosted crop squares under the garden areas of the farmyards. the native indian village mod does have a hunting grounds and a tobacco patch with it.

the dock indians built a FO. sauna and school. they planted more of the sister crops. more storage has been  built and fields planted. the bannies are not happy, not only were they running out of tools but the churches were getting crowded.

to make the pickles, the bannies have 2 ways. the CC preservist needs glassware and spirits, basically vinegar.an RK chain is setup to make glassware using coal. for now,the preservist uses sugar from the sugarbeet factory to make apple jam. a CC tinnery is planned in the city.we need to wait on more lumber.

the farmyards needed a Slink farmers market to move food out of their barns.

winter came early this year. the banies finished off a CC glass factory to make more glassware for the pickles.a ketcup factory and a CC old dairy were completed. the cottage farms added a bee keeper to pollinate the fields. a flour mill works nearby.

the old CC dairy takes milk and gives out a variety of goods, cheese, butter, and cream at the same time. since no other building will do that the bannies built a kitchen. this can cut different meat types and make more butter and cheese. it also brews any wild honey they find.

YEAR 50 REVIEW

population 772, in 175 houses. now that the hardwood forester has replaced the trees, we are running short on logs and firewood. we have plenty of food and tradeable goods.

we finished building all the farmyards and animal pens.the city now has pickles. ketchup, sugar, and more meat processors were constructed. they even have a small dairy and furniture shop.the city has almost doubled in size. the Indians have expanded north of the island along the lake.

the city was recleared of rocks and some of the flowers that had overgrown along the roads.the grassy roads mod is handy for that.there is lush grass for the flower gardens and parks.

Next GOAL- there isn't 1. i highlighted lots of KID's mods along the way. the farmyards, the painted houses, the many wild west and colonial housing options.built a few of the CC processing buildings.

i did have plans to do more with the Indians but unfortunately i do not have the upgraded CC native mod in the mod order. it was 1 of the mods i removed to cut down the file size. that upgraded mod does have more Indian huts and functioning buildings.

the city can continue growing. it can double in size again before it gets to the southern lake.originally it was planned to run this longer until it hit the game limit or the new year started.with the uncertainty of the WOB site, i haven't decided what to do next. usually by now, i have an idea or 2 for the next map.i do need to check the download section and then re-organize the mod order again.

@brads3 Nice town  :)  I am wondering how the Animal Sheds Plus mod worked for you with RKEC.  Did you have consistent supply of feed for the animals?  In Grizzly Gulch I had Kid Wildlife starts that provided grass but did not always have enough workers to gather it.  I did quite a bit of micromanaging.  Did you say RK's thatch dies out after awhile?
Title: Re: BRAD'S SETTLING OF AMERICA SERIES 4: Foxfield
Post by: brads3 on December 13, 2020, 09:32:58 AM
the good thing is KID gives other options. thatch-fodder does die off after like 3-5 years on the RKEC. you need fodder huts to replant it.there are 2 on this map.

it is hard to keep thatch on these maps since houses will burn it as firewood. have a ton of flowers that do respawn.never enuf fodder.i wish we had a piece like KID's combo foresters that planted thatch instead of the flowers. or better yet that planted the original shorter grass of the thatch.

the outputs to the farms and animal pens never was a problem. i put them all in 1 spot to higjhlight them. normally, they'd b more scattered on the map. i do wish there were more farmyards that gave clothing and tools. and a couple more that gave just food. since we don't always start with livestock it would be odd that we have cows all of a sudden.

they do work well. i did load the xmas mod and the upgraded tiny.there are many more options now that would have went with the colonial city.i am hoping PILGRIM gets the other colonial mod out soon.

There is a serious misjudgement in RK's fodder huts.
The thatch spawns flowers, but the forester does not gather flowers. Soon the flowers will take over from the thatch.
Manually gather flowers only gives you tons of useless flowers...
Title: Re: BRAD'S SETTLING OF AMERICA SERIES 4: Foxfield
Post by: Abandoned on December 13, 2020, 11:50:10 AM
@brads3 We thought we had a good selection of animal feed, some to collect and some to grow.  I had no problem with Wildlife start grass (thatch) other than having enough laborers to collect it and get it to the sheds.  But without Wildlife Start I would have no thatch at all.  Kid grass has only deco flowers, none to collect.  We think alike, I thought of a grass patch for animal sheds plus, a thatch forester would work good too.  There will be an update.

Farmyards mod is full.  Maybe someday a farmyard 2  :)  I could think of more to add also and I have note about flax.  You use Ghost Town patch, also the hedgerow in Abandoned Places produces flax and Settlers has a flax patch.

My solution to farm animals suddenly appearing is start people brought them, that nomads brought them, they find strays, or the river boatman brought a few.  Kid Deco Farm Animals work great for pictures.  Also for farmyard I use the deco vegetable so it looks as if there is a little something to harvest in the winter - not just bannie working an empty patch.

Good to know you had no problem with output from animal sheds.

oh there is a good collection. too much,LOL. i have to pick which mods to use in order to have enough memory. soo many mods have  afew pieces i want from each.

RED did say he needed to come back someday and fix the fodder, since it does die off. the older/original thatch was a shorter grass. much easier to see things with. i tried several ways to keep that grass but in the end we'd give up the wild animals for it. i had corn and other crops with the farmyards to feed with.

i do like the extra options YOU and KID made for the colonial city and the xmas and tiny even.some as houses and others to function works well. i like using KID's garden pieces like the flax or beekeeprs. they make good fillers. i don't use the painted houses often. they don't fit most of my towns.they did well with the colonial city parts. with my order, the flax garden is the only way to be sure which flax i have for tailors.

i have done that as well. use the deco oats to make some extra fields to feed the animals. and the fodder makes hay for them.

i do have KID's bison in the wild. they look more wild than the domesticated RK's. it is neat that some things can be done by tweaking the order. his patches have helped. with KID's education patch i can run the RK and DS IND without much issue.

;D ya, too many.  I have 326 files in windata folder.   there will be more.   :)

The painted houses did look good on this map.  That cracked paint texture was so cool looking we just had to use it in a mod.  Uneducated patch is good when taking a lot of nomads.  It is fun combining different mods for different situations.
Title: Re: BRAD'S SETTLING OF AMERICA SERIES 4: Foxfield
Post by: brads3 on December 16, 2020, 09:45:25 AM
i'll mention this here for ABANDONED. the thatch and flowers- RED did adjust them along the way. main problem is the fodder/thatch grass doesn't continue to spawn but the flowers do come back. we have more flowers than we can use. if the thatch did re-spawn, we might end up with too much of it.at 1 time,i think RED changed it, the flowers did spawn the berries.

on my maps ,the houses burrn any extra thatch. KID's FO nat div mod deals with that. if you had lots of thatch and weren't using it for the stables and greenhouses, it would be nice to have more options. the animal pens will help some. maybe a stables that could be used for trading animals.KID already made the deco horses and cattle. you coud feed this the thatch and trade the newborns.

not sure what ideas she might have or be working on. but the thatch mod has  been known to go from 1 extreme to another. too much flowers to thatch to fertilizer.

there is a write up bout which trees spawn which food. have not found it in a long time. birch spawn different than oaks or pines, etc. not all forests, even modded 1's, give the same foods as outputs. it is neat that they give a variety. LUKE did hardcode a few things that make the game interesting and fun. not sure how much affect on them the modders do have.

@brads3  Kid will not make a stable to add trade horses.  They are not from his mods and only his Wildlife Starts and Westward Ho start have grass/thatch (no flowers).  He will not add something that would require other mods to be used.  Animal Sheds plus will be a use for thatch from his starts and will have update with thatch patch and forester (no flowers) if those start mods are not used.  There are plenty of trade goods including excess flowers and thatch  :)  New and different trade items may be added to future Kid mods, but not trade horse.
