Kid - Hobbits V1.02

Taking up a thread on the forum we present some hobbit buildings.
It is a work by Abandoned and me. Follow her thread to see more pictures.

V1.01 - A fix for the too-expensive mill.
V1.02 - Added a Mushroom patch





I have a couple of houses that can be built into the mountain or free-standing.
Other buildings are only free-standing.
There is Food production (they are hobbits) :) and there is Deco.
All comes in 4 textures. Grass roof or vanilla thatch roof.

The Mill is just so beautiful and the deco pieces are great and oh the new food making  stands! I really like it!

Hey!

I was playing a round with mods and I realized that the hobbit tailor offers to make clothes with flax but he does not accept flax that I grew. I tried the flax patch but still the tailor doesnt accept it. There are a few tailors of your mods that offer to make linen clothes but the only tailor accepting flax to make clothes from is the linen weaver but I dont know from which mod that is.
I tried to put rk editors choice and mea mod highe rin the mod order but nothing changed. Where is my error?

It is the old compatibility problem.

I use tanypredator's New Flora resources and she has put the flax files
different from RK or MM. So when I accept flax, it is her flax I want.
Maybe solve it by putting New Flora on top but that is also risky.
You can lose other spawns (from RK or MM)
Or try Hobbits on top... I really don't know. I think it is complicated.

Goblins - can these mods be used to create a new story? That's just my question - I don't have that imagination because you super masters have a gift. Cheers

@kid1293 I really tried a lot now, changing mod order, tried different versions of new flora, but the problem stays. i guess i will just have to live with that. thanks for your tips anyway!

what game settings are you using? i wonder if TANDY's is set to medium start and an odd setting is not allowing it to work. you can try to add NECORA's new pine flora patch mod. that was made to work with TANDY's flax. it will also spawn traps and beaver lodges to the map however. a give and take but might solve the flax.

did you try moving other KID mods above the RKEC to test it? i'd try moving the RKEC below all KID mods just once to see if it worked. if so then you could trial and error down to the 1 that did change the flax.

Thanks @taniu  yes, there is some good food in Kid Hobbits.  :)  No goblins or orcs but dwarves have crossed our minds more than once.  :)  Maybe someday.  :)

@kid1293 Does your Rabbit Garden also produce potatoes? All I see in the production window is fur, rabbit meat, apples, and cabbage. The reason I ask is because I have about 1,500 potatoes in inventory and I do not have any potato seeds. The only potatoes I had was from the wagon cart I started with and I am in my sixth year now and they should have been long gone by this point. If the Rabbit Garden does produce potatoes it doesn't show because the output window only shows four items.

Any plans on adding a market to this mod? I got stuck using the vanilla market. I didn't load any other mods with this one except for your Forest Outpost mod so I didn't have your separate market mod installed. I kind of get carried away using too may mods so I was trying super duper hard to only use five or less supporting mods.

No, no potatoes in the rabbit garden.
A market is maybe in the future. I haven't thought about it.

Hey Kid, what is the storage capacity of the Large Barn? Your small barn is 3600 and your Root Cellar is 8200 but your Large Barn doesn't say the capacity size.

Same as the root cellar. 8200  No, root cellar is 3000
