Title: M.U.L.E.
Post by: solarscreen on May 19, 2014, 05:14:51 PM
Anyone ever play M.U.L.E. before?  It was back in the very beginning of gaming and I put a lot of hours on this game.  Simple, not a lot of different things to do, but challenging. Much like Banished is now.

How about it? Anyone willing to admit it?  :)

It sounded familiar so I had to google it. I never played it myself but i have known other gamers who have said they did. Around that time I would have been staying up at night playing Mr Do on my brother's collecovision!

Yes, my husband and I played M.U.L.E. on an Atari 800.  I remember that when you did too well, your M.U.L.E. ran away.  That was a typical approach to back then.  Also, it was a competitive game which was not how we really wanted to play.  It took a couple of decades before gaming companies finally allowed people to play with each other instead of against each other.

I used to play it on Commodore 64.  It was a great game for its time.

Thanks for the trip down memory lane.  Still remember those sounds and music.
