Year 106:

I wish to extend the railway to the right between the river and the lake and then to the northeast into the mountains using a deco tunnel entrance.



Newest redesigned area. A cemetery will be built to the left (north) of the greenhouses.




DS Glassworks and DS Sandpit up and running.


DS Jetty hospital is built in the western village. I've decided it is time to expand to the western shore of this lake and build a half jetty-half land village there. With enough workforce I will then start to mine for iron ore and coal. And finally start to produce and use steel tools.

There's never enough deco stuff!!!

I'm undecided whether to build the colourful DS Bryggen houses or the grey and brownish versions on the land part of the village.
There's never enough deco stuff!!!

I love the Bryggen houses and have tried to use them in a city builder aspect, to make a tight medieval kind of town, that Bergen is in real. There's more of these kind of houses behind the famous Bryggen front of Bergen, with narrow streets and courtyards. But I haven't really succeeded. So please use the Bryggen houses. I would very much like to see, how an expert like you deal with them. Besides, I find the other grayish houses more suitable as raw houses in an industrial/mining settlement, but of course, I guess, that someone like you can make something beautiful out of them, too. :)

@Nilla, you mentioned Bergen? Are you from near there? I only ask because up until  recently I worked for Rolls Royce and we had a large plant in Bergen that I had to speak with frequently so I got to know several very nice people from there.  Small world!

No I'm not. But I have been there a couple of times and know the town a little bit. But Rolls Royce has a plant in the town Kristinehamn as well. That's in my neighborhood. As far as I know, they make motors for ships.

oh yes, I know people there too! What a coincidence!  Yes, it was the Marine part of Rolls Royce that I worked for.

Empty area below the yellow cabin will be used to place a tailor building. At the moment there is a yearly decrease in clothing but it will be sorted out.

Once newly acquired sheep herd arrives this small pasture will help supply aforementioned tailor.
