Hey all, it's been a while since I've made anything, but I've just started working on a new mod set. I wanted to pick a South American country, but library access is still kinda iffy at the moment. So, this one will be a houses and deco only set, inspired by 1800's city houses in the USA. There's a lot less to research when it's my own country lol.
it may take a bit longer than normal, alas, because chronic pain continues to kick my ass, but hopefully not too long.

@Tom Sawyer , the next part is complete: the Elfreth Corner House! It has a total of 32 different version (whew), because there's one with each type of brick, color, and direction.

A shotgun style house that was popular in the southern US in the 1800s, but there are examples from all over the country.
Very nice, I like the colours and can visualise a whole set in this style

I like all the details, all the shading and AO effects really add a lot to the overall appearance.

This one is a "double shotgun" style of house, similar to the last one. In real life there might be one family living in each half of the house, but only one family is allowed in Banished.

I am planning on two more houses for my New Orleans style houses, one a corner house, and then I'll upload a new Beta version for people to try out.
:) Very nice. If you really would want 2 families in one of these houses, perhaps the front left one, you could make it a boarding house for 2 families. Might be handy to have in the set.
Sorry there's some big delays on this project. First I was moving, now I've caught covid. This is still on my to do list, just dropped a few places (after "stop hurting" and "unbox house" lol).

Whew it has been a couple of kinda bad months, but I have finished the next house!
I guess I'm returning to rowhouses for this one, even though I said I was done with them, but New Orleans has some nice ones. I did make an optional 3rd story for them, so you can do a little stacking. I'm not entirely satisfied with how they turned out, just because they look silly if you mix and match the colors. I'm going to do a corner house in this style as well; hopefully the extra story in that one will work better.

How about split the house vertically on two symmetrical parts. Such two houses that are attached to each other would look like one house.
