Absolutely fantastic!!!

Any chance of a small patch that would make merchants bring iron fittings to the DS Blast Furnace & Industry Mining mod trading post? I would really like to use this food trading post in my current town but I can not upgrade the jetty mod with all the stuff I have already built.
There's never enough deco stuff!!!

You should be able to use the normal trading post to order the items. Glass and Wagon Parts are Crafted (Custom0), Iron Fittings are Forged (Custom1) and Lumber is Construction (Cuctom5).

Or you can use the new blacksmith I just uploaded, though you will still need the lumber & glass to build that.

It should already. If you loaded up this mod and waited a few years you'd have a 3:5 chance that it would be a merchant carrying Custom0 for Iron Fittings or even any of the others.

Or you can cheat (sort of). Save your game before the boat docks and reload until you get what you want. Might be quicker than several game years.

v2 BETA release

I am nearing completion of the long awaited update to the Thompson Trade Merchants, there is a few more things to do and alter including making a livestock trader.

But it all needs testing, so I'm releasing a beta version.
to build the traders you will need a ready supply of these: Timber (Lumber), Iron Fittings, Wagon Parts and Glass (all can be produced when using the latest DS Jetty & Bridge mod).

a few points of interest,
it adds 7 trader buildings:
Trade: Fruit ,Veg & Grain - the v1 trader - specialising in the import of fruits, vegetables and grains. [Fruit, Vegetable, Grain]
Trade: Fuels - specialising in the import of all fuels, firewood, charcoal, coke, etc. [Fuel, Custom3]
Trade: Goods & Crafts - specialising in the import of tools, clothing, textiles & fabrics, health, crafted & forged items. [Tool, Clothing, Textile, Custom2, Health, Custom0, Custom1]
Trade: Ores & Materials - specialising in the import of minerals, ores and materials. [CoalFuel, Custom4]
Trade: Building Supplies - specialising in the import of Wood & Timber, Stone, Iron, Construction goods & forged items. [Wood, Stone, Iron, Custom1, Custom5]
Trade: Seeds - specialising in the import of crop & orchard seeds.
Trade: Edibles & Goods - specialising in the import of all foods, tools, clothing, textiles & fabrics, health, crafted and household fuels. [Alcohol, Health, Fuel, Protein, Grain, Fruit, Vegetable, Clothing, Tool, Custom0, Textile, Custom2]

There is also included a set of matching dock/wharf deco pieces.

v2.0 full release is now available for download from here

I've had a bit of a play. One suggestion is to remove the wooden bollard things and make them ghost deco. They look good, but if they were ghost deco you wouldn't need so many F variants and we could place them exactly where we want them. Same with the bench that appears on some pieces. A ghost tree planter box would make a good decorative piece, too.

A combined seed and livestock trader would be good, in addition to the separated ones. Having them separate is fine, but there aren't that many animals to buy so that trader isn't going to have a lot to do.

A slightly different suggestion is a logging barge and coal barge to match this set (and also perhaps to match the Thadd set). Similar to what CC has done, you 'buy' logs or coal, but really the building is making them out of coins.

I haven't really explored this yet, but a way to easily connect your bridge set to these wharf pieces would be handy. It might already be possible, but if it's kind of tricky to do then perhaps some dedicated bridge ends that terminate on some special wharf pieces. That would be excellent.  :)

Love specialized trade posts and these look awesome. The wharf is fantastic, too.  Looking forward to giving this some play.  Thank you, Discrepancy.

The wharf pieces look so good. The timber mill wharf set was great but these are even better.  :)

One piece that this set is missing is a 1x1 steps piece. A 1x2 or 1x3 ramp piece would also be good, with the slope of the ramp going from high to low over 2 or 3 tiles.

ELEMENTAL,the ramp makes good sence. be good for using wheelbarrows for the TP workers and vendors.
