Just getting started with playing mods (except CC for the time being) and have a quick question about tools...

From what I've been able to find from searches, Tools in order of durability are:

Wooden Tool
Stone Tool
Iron Tool
Steel Tool
Hardened Tool
Carbon Steel Tool

Or are Hardened the same as Carbon Steel?  Would be interested to know where the CC tools fit on that list as well.

i am not sure about the CC ones.....

but mine are :

wooden:    int _useValue = 50;
stone:    int _useValue = 75;
iron:    int _useValue = 100; (vanilla)
steel:    int _useValue = 200; (vanilla)
hardened: ? (CC)
carbonsteel:    int _useValue = 300;

I checked there and there was no Hardened Tool listed.

I once made Hardened Tools to replace Carbon Steel.
It's so hard to get coal in the beginning, so I changed
one coal for an iron > 1 coal+2 iron+1wood
Now it is the other way around.
With CC you get iron ore instead of iron.


They are not really needed but I like the durability. (300)
