i vote no cows. can it be split and the cows in a separate mod? then the players who want the cows can use them with other mods as well. i know i am going to go sit in the corner.

I personally don't mind what the cows are, where I am the cows are brown & white, black & white, and the big red ones.
They all 'get produced' to the same end product, so I don't mind.

Can we not have a new cow, so one doesn't override another?  mooers, milkers, beefers? or is it a texture thing?
So that players like brads don't have their fave overwritten.
Enquiring minds want to know ...  haha.

just did my old blacksmith too with its residence
i also gave a new possibility : handle CC iron ore and make 1 to 2 iron from 2 ore (cc has 1 ore + 1 furnace = 1-2 iron) so ... it gives another option.

@RedKetchup the changes to your blacksmith so it can work like a mini-foundry is a great idea. Sometimes I need to make iron but I don't really want the CC foundries because they're both large sized. A smaller building is very welcome.
