Mod Request (please) Small Milk Barn/Churner

Sorry to barge in, but I think about the cows and a small dairy.
I want black-white cows. I want a small dairy.
I don't want a new model for the cows. I want the old ones to
give milk, beef and leather. Black-white that is. 

So, just curious. Should the dairy be built with wood?

Yes please, I say wood, it suits my purpose, and will ultimately suit the environment most players will put them in.  For a small farmlet, outpost, 'leanto' dairy, I think wood is perfect.
Maybe, if you wanted to add an F-Variant, a stone base, with wood sidings & roof, for those that want to mix it up a little.


But, I'm happy with all options

@kid1293 barge in anytime.  I'd like the small dairy to match your forest outpost, if an F-Variant then I think a match for your Colonial House mod, maybe weathered white or plimoth match.  Thanks ever so much.  Love Red's cows and red creamery.  Small one will be great for small maps and mountains.

I guess I didn't read your post very accurate @Abandoned .
This is not weathered white but it is sort of Colonial building.
I can make a white F-key variant if you want.

4x3+road / only wood to build / all products just like NMT and CC.
And the cows! Already approved and just what I want.
I changed the vanilla cattle (still named cattle) and added milk to them.
This means all sorts of problem with NMT or CC. You figure something out.
I only show this picture now and have a break (food and beer).
Maybe later a variant.

@kid1293 that small dairy looks real good, love the milk cans. Cows look great.  It certainly goes well with Colonial building set and with others building also.  A white F-key variant will be a nice alternative to use for variety.  The size is perfect.  My notes say Red's NMT has full size creamery and black and white cows and I guess CC does also.  Is it the cow name that is causing problem?  If so how about bovine, Holstein, or old Betsy.  Plus all the dairy products, great.  Thanks so much (and Red too for cow info).  I'm sure @QueryEverything will like small dairy as much as I do.

i think if you place this mod below CC,you still will have both kinds of cows.if you place above NMT then you will have black and white cows but both creameries should work. unless milk is somehow coded different also.

personally i prefer a dairy to make cheese,butter,cream randomly at the same time. and a creamery to be specific so you could make yogurts.

there aren't any milk cows in black and white??? i have CC,but thought there was a milk cow mod that changed the colors.

Sorry if this has already been answered, but CC does have the black and white Friesian cows. They produce milk.

Mine is just named 'cattle' as it is the vanilla cattle with new texture
and milk. No point renaming them. They are incompatible with
some things in NMT and CC since they do changes on vanilla too.

@brads3 random dairy products sound good.  I think NMT has the black and white cows like the red creamery Red made.  I still have not tried NMT or CC or Fountain and a bunch of others.

@kid1293 the old milk cow on family farm was called Old Bessy not Betsy.

Here is my dairy in two versions.


edit - one way to improve it could be to separate the extension and table from the house
and have a residential house with a dairy addon.
That way it could be easy to add - say, an oven for baking bread as extension instead of
the extension and the milk table.

@kid1293 , the dairy and cows are wonderful.  Both work with no problem and both look great in game. The white dairy turned out really nice, both will match with just about any set. Tested on new test map with both dairies.  Good yield and no problems - beef, hide, milk, cheese, cream, & yogurt with berries. 

Both dairies would certainly look good as a house, then with extension, table and milk cans an optional addon with a small bakery as an alternative.  Sounds like the makings of a very nice family homestead.

I'm in the middle of making something new from these houses.
Maybe I hit myself in the head later, but now I am having fun.

I have read other thread here in the forum and found that some
people want SMALL workplaces. ...and of course RedKetchup's
Country Little House gave me inspiration.

So why not chop this new fabulous building in pieces? 
I am on the way making it modular. Same placement of the
individual parts (if you want), but at least some use for the building.

A residental place, a storage and several small workplaces.
There will be, for a starter - dairyman, grinder (makes flour) and
a baker.
It is some time until I can have pictures. Busy writing the code.

I will have tany's Wild Oats and CC oats in addition to wheat and corn.
I will use CC recipe for bread, need butter, but now there will be
a dairy just around the corner.

And cows, did I mention cows?
