I'm impressed, even the industry looks beautiful. :)

Thanks. :)  Still need to plant some trees and flowers and other deco stuff.

Year 37:

Main town. Stocking up on as much food as I can at the moment.

I've started clearing the land to the north across the river. This will be a place for Kid's rowhouse village.

Kid's lighthouse has been built to help traders find their way.

Year 41:

New maple forest. Long-term plan is to remove these three fields and build Mr. Red's Choo-Choo trade railway stations. I will also add canal trading post south of this canal bridge and another maple forest directly north across the river.

Just wanted to say that I've loved looking through all these images and seeing how your previous city grew and your changes for this new one. I've spend the last year playing without any of the main tech progression options - avoiding large-scale manufacture, anything that needs 'building supplies', and even minimising roads and anything in a straight line! I've kept small communities jumbled around local village-level production. So looking at your images was a huge reminder of all the different things this game can do! I actually just started a new game last night (my previous personal challenge became unplayable) and while i've started with my typical non-linear design I think I might change it up! Maybe once I start trading and get some seeds I'll change my hunter-gather community into a planned urban centre ;)  Thanks for sharing.

I'm glad you like my pics @BlueFireChelle . I always try to cut down on grid building but then OCD kicks in and most planning goes straight to hell.

Year 45:

There is more than enough wagon parts and iron fittings in storage so I've redesigned the industrial area and built DS Crest family blacksmith instead.

Kid's bakery will provide herb bread for citizens and a hostel was also built.

Infrastructure takes precedence over houses. I also plan to add these DS quays on the main town shore between the two bridges and perhaps later even west and east of them.

Still a lot of work needed but it is coming along nicely.

I will add a statue at the back of the Chapel of St. Ernest and some of Kid's market puzzle stalls next to Sherbrooke market.

I really like the flower garden in the last picture :)

Which mod adds those tall red flowers behind the bee hive? I don't recall having them myself, I must've missed a deco mod.

Lovely. I also like very much, that you show development areas, not only finished, beautiful spots.

Gatherer

There's still plenty of unfinished work. My approach is to jump from one area to another sometimes just to add one or two pieces down.

Thank you for the mod! I also tend to have unfinished ares, I keep expanding, and then come back later to add some deco.

Some shade for the workers.

Cemetery is full of life. :D

Even with the latest version of Natural Diversity the trees are still dying out. I suspect it might be because of EB's OrchardELTreesOverride Mod. Anyone else have some other theory?
