To be honest, I need a roof in 6 different heights too. Can not be changed in-game.
Add another texture and it multiplies.

Condos for rent

I guess I am walking into a dead end here. Condos does not fit Banished.
But it is all about having fun. And yes @Abandoned it is moving forward.

This is what I have been doing lately. The one to the right (on 5th floor) is reserved for
Mr. Red Ketchup. He said he was interested in a calm place in the shade.

Jokes aside (or maybe not) - I was very taken by the post by @Abandoned . Up on the roof
so I decided to make a spot for the bannies to relax. They deserve it.

Now back to solve the problem of getting many nomads into a small space.

Nobody have to download and play our mods if they believe it is not their thing.

hmmmmmm no height limits??? that could be used and exploited.a huge mountain to go on the map corners.snow capped,trees for a 1/4 way down the hill.flat plateus with fields of crops and barns for storage,a nice tall waterfall,several bear caves,add some nice houses and we have a city in itself.lol

Absolutely... I mean I'd be hard put to build those into a medieval or colonial scene...  ... but hey, mix that with the mission, mex fantasy and other choice pieces, and you could come up with a cool contemporary setting, maybe a mediterranian fishing village or such - thankfully without cars, too...  LOL

Always good for a vacation from harsh survival...

Or just one of them 6 floors high in the middle of nowhere.
Good for a laugh. We all need that. 

Right now I have f-key variants of those roof-tops. No change in deco
but the edges matches the houses. A lot of wasted space/polygons and work
for only that. I will change that. So there will be only one roof-top to each floor.
This mod is growing larger so every saved resource is a plus.

@Paeng , I'm going for a two-storey ground floor building with an annex
to increase the limit. It will be 'standard' tower model with two versions.
With/without roof. Let's say 10-12 in tower plus another 8 in annex.
That could easily be (with a shoehorn) 20 nomads - 5 families of 4.
Is this reasonable?

edit - and @Paeng , did that crop field in the background belong to the city designer? 

I don't think a market should be built on ground floor of a tower.
So some kind of freestanding market/shop.

Then, maybe, I can go back and test hedges.

But first listen to the sounds of the night.

@kid1293 plan for boarding house and market sounds good.    Only thing at night as pretty as the stars are fireflies by the hedges and wildflower areas, do you have lightning bugs in Sweden?  Have a good night.
