YEAR 19

we built a small school near the trader village.it will buy us time while we work to clear more land for the zoo.since we traded for grape seeds, an orchard is cleared at the south village.

YEAR 20  REVIEW

population just short of 100,half are workers. 30% educated.health has dropped since we had the typhous outbreak and still need a grain seed. we took in 19 nomad helpers. with the excess sap, we have a year and a half worth of food stored.

we now have 2 schools.storage has been improved and expanded.we process iron as needed.the trade post was enlarged to bring the animals in faster.4 animals have been added to the zoo.another pen is fenced, land is being cleared for several more.  the south wall has been completed.

overall we are about 5yrs behind what io had hoped. we are short of leather and grain.you can thank the gardeners for clearing the trees for the pics.

why don't helpers come more often? many will disagree with this theory, but it is what i have seen. another of the hidden parts of the code that LUKE designed. the far west wall tower is larger, so it looks good and made sence to build it there overlooking the lake. it however is a hostel or boardinghouse.as long as there are bannies living there,at the moment there are 2 young newlywed couples, nomads don't arrive. if we build 1 house and start building a house for the ramaining couple, then the nomads will arrive. there are other mods that override this and bring nomads each year.

none of this is a complaint. this can give players another way to control the population growth. here it made sence to keep some workers close to the zoo. it also allowed students to graduate and improve the education level. now that more students are due to graduate,we will have a population boom.

YEAR 20

we traded for 3 sheep.they stay in the holding pen for now. the workers are moving supplies for the chicken and rabbit pens. a bison pasture is being cleared the builders are busy with  the east wall.

to help with our clothing needs,a quickhunter took down some wild boars.we also traded for a few full coats.

1 couple moved from the Core tower and a tower is being built with the east wall.we should have nomads next year.

YEAR 21

as expected,5 niomads arrived in spring.they brought some dogs and cats with them.1 couple is still in the core but a house was under construction. 1 couple will build a tailor shop to make more clothing. we do have cotton and flax to use. the tailor will process the cotton into cloth and then make coats.

a herd of elk waundered thru the zoo. they were far enough away and hiden by trees to avoid being hunted.

the CORE does have another neat trait. once it is emptied to 1 couple, our young teens pair up and move in. only 1 couple at a time even though the CORE can handle 4 families. this of course opens room for 2 more babies to be born plus any the newly wed couple have.the bannies do this move all on their own.

YEAR 22

while we work to increase our food and supplies,we built a stone walkway around the aquatic area.due to safety. we went with CC quay pieces since they are higher. we also plowed another field and added more storage for the south village.

YEAR 23

a merchant finally brought wheat seed.our trader had to work to move more goods as the seed cost more than we had at the trade post. we will have to adjust crops and the trading stock for next year.

another tower was built and more roads for the zoo.we increased food production. we improved the coats. and now the bannies break more tools. as hard as we work to progress faster, something happens to slow us back down.

city roads looks better with buildings than just like that, in farm/pasture environment ^^

yeah, but i thought it made a good wide path for the zoo.plus it gives us places for benches and some shade trees.long ways to go yet.

RedKetchup

would be better if there are rowhouses all along the road , the city road, and then the pasture behind the rowhouses :)

the CORE tower was emptied the last couple moved to the east entrance. the merchants brought 4 chickens.

I only know the German word "Streichel Zoo"; something like "Petting Zoo"; where children are allowed to touch and pet the animals. This part of your zoo is something like that. My daughter would have loved it as she was 5. :)
