I think that's the same issue as with the Forest Pond.

There IS a surface! It is transparent and only produces ripples in the water.
IF the water texture is not displayed there will be NO ripples.
(yes, there are but you have to move to an inch from the screen to see them)

So - What we have here is a failure to display correct. If I read @brads3
right, he can see the surface. So it is not my imagination.
I can only say: I am sorry I don't know how to handle display problems
like this.

@twilightbreeze - I have uploaded a new version of Fish Farm with a
non-transparent texture. Try that!

If your picture IS from that newly uploaded version - I see no solution.

Hi again @twilightbreeze , I have just run Banished on my very old laptop
and Fish Farm with the non-transparent surface shows up.

I uploaded that version two hours ago.

Ok, I reloaded it, and checked again....it looks fine, so maybe I didn't load the new version right at first. It's all good now.

I had to solve this my way!

I have re-uploaded Version 1.0 and now provided a link to non-transparent
version in first post in this thread.
I still have faith in solving transparency in the future.

Uploaded V1.1.

I have painted inside walls of ponds with a transparent blue color.
And I fixed the depth of the ponds. The grass was showing through.
And a 'no extra layer' version in first post in this thread.

Now it is already time for V1.2!

I stop experimenting with extra water layer.
The version in download is the edited 'non-transparent' version.

Sorry for messing around but I wanted to give that new technique a try.
