RE: 1

That is true. My problem is that I forget, especially seldom used words. LOL
Last April I started writing a story (not published). I use Evernote (free) but want to buy Scrivener.
To really challenge myself, I write in English and believe I've become a lot better... but of course, it's really bad compared to native English speakers.

Anyway, as of now, I just write for myself. Should I ever publish it would need heavy editing. And since I already have enough written for maybe three books... it would be a lot of work for a poor editor. LOL

The way sentences in the English language are built... it's very different from Norwegian and Swedish. I don't know your language, though, so I cannot say how it compares.

RE: 1
Btw. Have you tried Grammarly? www.grammarly.com

Hello neighbor, welcome! I do need something like that. I will try it. I'm totally lost without the spellcheck on this website but I know I also make a lot of grammatical mistakes.

RE: 1...
In Finnish language word sentence is more free and flexible than in English. Swedish language is part of education program in Finland (didn't learn a pit), but what comes to linguistics im no to explain anything.
I like writing too, but more my own language. What kind of stories you write. Not nordic noir?  :D Or is this question too nosy and rude?

Your question is neither nosy nor rude. I'm writing on a story set in the Ice Age. It's about a group of people on a journey.
But should we make a new thread for discussing this topic?

Howdy, like many others I am posting here to keep my forum account active. I've been playing Banished for a couple of years now... Got bored with vanilla Banished, then found Banished North which is my favorite. (Thank you very much Tom Sawyer for your wonderful mod!)

I enjoy riding motorbikes in the summer and playing video games in the winter, and I find Banished to be very relaxing... :)

Cheers!

Hi -
I'm posting here as well as on other topics (where I have questions) - I just want to thank you all for the wonderful mods, and the hints and the discussions!! I'm learning so much from this site, and I wouldn't have been able to figure it out myself (maybe in a year or so)... so, THANKS!  ;D
