This is a very old challenge. My link is to a blog of a game without mods. But I suggest you chose the mods you like. Any game without trade is somehow a challenge and very much fun, no matter what.

Maybe you should start with this challenge unmodded. Just to have a fun game and a challenge without mods. If it works alright, start to add a few smaller mods and see what happens. Maybe IŽll join you. I havenŽt played unmodded for ages.
