Well it's 4.45pm on Christmas Eve and the surrounding streets have echoed for hours with the sound of sirens.
Not the sound of an emergency, as one may think, for in Australia Christmas and the holiday season also coincides with the bush fire season.
Instead the sirens were for Santa who was being driven by the local rural fire service street by street shouting merry Christmas and giving lollies to the children. ;D
