This is a mod for making beautiful 3D city roads in middle of your main town.

Changed logs : Added diagonals and soft turns Left-Right to 3 and 4 tiles width to both set of textures.

This Mod contains :
- 2 set of textures.
- Each texture has 2 set of size : 3 tiles width and 4 tiles width.
- Each texture has also one 1x1 road tile and one "ghosted" sidewalk 1x1 tile.
- Each set of size and textures has : 1 or 2 short straight, 1 or 2 long straight, a corner that turn, a 3 way, a 4 way, a end of the road, a soft turn right and left, a diagonal....

2.1 Update : added some ghosted sidewalks (1x3, 1x5, 3x3, 5x5)
2.2 Update : added a 3rd set with red bricks ( special order by @c_jayy93 )
2.2b Update : Fixed some of sidewalk pieces of set 3 which didnt had the good texture assigned.

Enjoy!

Wow, looks really smooth now  :)

One of these days I need to leave my forest and build a town around those...  ;)

Hey RedKetchup,

I really love this mod but something is missing. I use the ghosted sidewalk to make plaza, but playing with 1x1 tile is a bit boring for huge plaza.
I'm wondering if you could make some new tile set for ghosted sidewalk tile. Like 1x3, 1x5 and 3x3, 5x5 ?

As you can see, I'm fan of all your mods, thank you for your impressive job !

A ghosted piece deeper than one square would be super handy for detail work.  Some buildings have open spaces a bit deeper than 1 tile and would be particularly useful with the diagonals.

oh it is ok. note if you are very fan of unbeatable AI .... you will be disappointed.
civ6 is alot more oriented on wars. you cant make a game without warfares alot and they hate you alot more.

i am in the process to do it :)

i did texture 1 so far :)

i made

1x3 sidewalk ghosted
1x5 sidewalk ghosted
3x3 sidewalk ghosted
5x5 sidewalk ghosted

as you asked :) cost will be proportional to number of tiles covered ^^ (it was 1 stone per tile, 2 works unit.)

Tsssss because of you RedKetchup, I had to hire some slave for my quarry. xD

I did not check if it was save compatible since I start a new one. I had a problems with missing crops at the dock (It should be sugar cane from Tequila mod that appeared on a blank line, I switch the mod to the top, that should be Ok for my next game).

I will try the second stone effect then ^^

Thank you again, for this mods and all the others, they are really great !

I tried with the second set of stone and with black roof buildings, it works really nice.

But I do prefer the first one actually and the red and black roof.

Here is a screenshot if people want to see.

Yes, with space bar to stop if an event occurs. In medium I can do it thought, not sure I will in harsh.
Once you have food, firewood and you did not plan to build too much houses in a row, you can let it turn a year or two to fill storages and to get more laborers. Then you can go to an other step like adding services or vary food.
There is no objectives to did the biggest town in less time, otherwise I would had play differently.

I like when sometimes you stop and ... you have an event to manage like the food/tools/firewood decrease and you need to find a way to deal with.
Actually, it was ok for medium but I plan to try in hard now to get new challenges.

I have lot of ideas about the game, I will explain that in an other thread :)

Big fan of the City Roads and looking forward to checking out the new textures.

Since you are working on it, any chance of diagonal versions of the ghost sidewalks?  Would make using with diagonal structures much easier.

@RedKetchup , I had asked some time ago about the possibility of creating a connector or connectors  for a smaller road to join a larger road. Any chance I can make a special request for something along those lines, in the form of a TEE intersection? I have been using the square by square building of streets/roads but it is just not a nice looking as your modded roads.

Oh Yes 4x to 3 x ^^

I had that in mind too ... but I dont want to bother you with a  lot of request. (As for the diagonal roads tiles ^^)

@RedKetchup , I was hoping for three-way intersection (3 intersecting 4) and a four-way intersection. Having a 4x become a 3x or a 3x become a 1x I did not think would work. Not sure how intersections would work with a single stone road either.

My idea was for 4x boulevard with 3x side streets.
