Can't download files today but could yesterday :(

Hi  I logged in yesterday and could download files, and today I get an error message "An error has occurred"  "You are not allowed to download files"

I am not sure what has happened.

Can anyone tell me what is going wrong

@kralyerg updated the download software since you last downloaded a file, think something has gone wrong with the upgrade as it's effecting everyone not just you, you will have to be patient in the meantime till it's fixed

Thank you for the prompt reply.  I was worried I was doing something wrong.

I really appreciate the work involved in getting things to work properly when an "upgrade" goes south, so I am grateful for the people fixing it.

I had no idea there was a problem.  I looked and all the permissions look correct. I'm not sure why there would be problems. Hmm...

Ok. It should all be fixed now.  The download category permissions were fine. It was the member group permissions that got a box unticked somehow, so members were allowed to view downloads but not actually download them.  All better.
