DS Crest Blacksmith
v1.1 - 24 Dec 2017


the Crest Family Blacksmith, produces Iron, Steel & Hardened Steel Tools. employs 1-2 Blacksmiths. Requires 89 work to build.

Download & Installation:

  - Download from here (http://worldofbanished.com/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=237) the latest .zip file.
  - unzip the file (right-click on file, and select unzip/extract/etc).
  - place DSCrestBlacksmith.pkm inside your Banished/WinData folder.
  - enable the mod on the Main Menu and Pause Menu.



Change Log:
DSCrestBlacksmith.pkm
v1.1 - major update .. 24Dec2017 ..          - .pkm = 3,114 KB (3.04 MB)
            - removed Fishing Gear resource.
            - renamed files to stop conflicts.
            - added AO to models.
            - various mesh and texture edits.
            - text and icon changes.
            - updated DS toolbar files.


v1    - initial release .. 6March2017 ..          - .pkm = 1,670 KB (1.26 MB)

updating mods, dssv, it is not as much fun as making something new.

I like this new smithy. It's not only well dimensioned, well textured and so on. It's also very "banished" and has something atmospheric, at least for me. It makes me a "want it in my village - feeling".

And the Blast Furnace of course can only make iron ore -> iron :)

Nice little building!

The furnace looks impressive. Do you plan other "industrial" buildings as well?

Nice little blacksmith. You certainly have developed your own unique modelling style and I like it.

I'm thinking 89 must have been a good year for you.  :P
