Vanilla. Hard difficulty. Accept all nomads. No Hospitals. No Herbalists. Can I reach 200 Population before year 20?
Animated Gifs to come. Currently playing through at x50 speed to get a 100 year population graph of up and down swings... and mass disease die offs.

How are you increasing speed by x50?
Once I hit certain population, the game comes to an agonizing crawl even at x10. Having up to x50 speed can help bring things back up to normal speed.

Depending on the size of your town and your computer power you can get the speed over 100x. Pushing buttons in Banished may knock the game out of x100+ speed and back to 1. You then need to turn back on the speed.
Turning up the speed won't help when your computer can't handle all the calculations due to large populations.
