How can I make reeds grow along rivers and lakes, not spawn all over map?

I have looked at a lot of files and can not understand how Darkbibou and Jesta030 did it.
I can not find anything that is really different from what I have.I copied all code and it works, in a way. It is closer to the shore but why it is I don't know.
There is a group definition which must be the one. I will experiment.
it is because i never tried to do this , personally. but BlackLiquid did. so i gave you the 2 files closest you want to do : their reeds files, and the trees that spawn next the river (2 files from Rise of the Pharaoh)

Reed is on hold. It is hard to anchor a bridge if there are reed growing.
and what if instead of mapping it as "Obstacle" you flag it as "Normal" ?
