How about a temp home, that you can just place, it's there, they can move in, have some food and firewood, but it only lasts about a month or two, slowly deteriorates, gives an immediate stave off of sure death, and a bit of a leeway to build a good home quickly. Like for a fire in the middle of winter, or other disaster where you have survivors but need an emergency home asap.
Any thoughts? Like maybe a wood lean to or something. A robe thrown over a tree branch.
