I am about to take a break. I still have some things to release.
If it wasn't for
@Abandoned the last few years I would not have made all those mods.
Thanks go out to her and her wonderful stories. Her suggestions made us laugh and
made us quarrel but things got made. Now I feel it is a good time to add a personal
insight/opinion/remark.
I no longer see Banished as Banished. Maybe it is because I can change things I don't like.
Maybe it is we modders pushing the limits and forcing you players with us.
The game has got messy. I need a break.

@kid1293 and his wonderful talent and mods I wouldn't have still been writing stories. We inspire each other, and laugh and quarrel. He deserves a break. :) and a Thank you, Kid, for the great mods.

Please keep us informed as to what games you are trying out next, I like tagging along with friends and playing the next fun game with them. Come back and say hi once in a while too in the mean time; I'll miss your presence here as well so it will be nice to hear from you.

we all need a break from time to time. sometimes longer, sometime smaller but more often....
you need to do something you enjoy at that moment you decide to do something. i personally like to play other things too and i can immerse a lot on new things.

I was just playing Banished and thought it would be nice to say thank to the dev and all the modders. It is appropriate to say a special thanks to Kid1293 - enjoy the rest. I still find Banished the most mindful, meaningful and rewarding PC game I have ever played.

if you noticed, me too i am again in breaks if we can call this, i don't just focus on Banished anymore since a year. i am playing also other things :)

Finally having a chance to get back to Banished, so much fun with the new rig that plays at high graphics and rarely crashes, much better than my struggles playing on a mac lol. So many people here on the forum helped me out with all my questions, this is such a great site. Love your mods, can't imagine playing without them, hope all is well and thank you for everything you've added to this game.

Have been posting about Banished over on Simtropolis with lots of links back to this site in the hopes of getting more people interested in the game, as it just never seems to have caught people's interest on Simtropolis and while I've been a SimCity 4 player for years, Banished is the game I play when I want to relax and its also the game that when I'm drifting off to sleep at night I will be planning out my latest village in my head.
Keeping the forum alive is important and even though we take breaks now and then from playing the game, we should continue to read and post in this forum.
I enjoy playing Banished as a way to wind down late at night. It's relaxing and no stress, unless things aren't working out the way I like lol.
Well since you asked....
2019 has been a chaotic year for me. I left my husband, and moved with my dog into a tiny apartment. Once the divorce was final, I started house hunting. I bought one, but it needed some work, so I've been dealing with that. I'm moving in on December 10th. As you can imagine, I haven't had much time for Banished or any other game. I'm hoping I can forge a new routine by January, and for sure it will include time for gaming.
I've poked my head in here a few times, but haven't downloaded any new mods for a long time. Once I'm settled, I intend to while away the deep winter by trying some new mods, baking bread, and in general enjoying my new life.
@Goblin Girl - I can only say you have had a hard time. A harsh winter to that is maybe not the best.
I hope you can enjoy your new life and that you keep Banished close to your heart :)
Once here, people leave an empty space when they leave. We all have a life to deal with.
