Forest Outpost
http://worldofbanished.com/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=96 (http://worldofbanished.com/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=96)
Version 1.01 - Fixed a button on house menu that should not be there.
Made Gatherer collect BLUE berries. :)
Version 1.02 - Added a new wall texture and made all textures better.
Version 1.03 - Added Workshop. (suggestion from Turis)
The workshop can only produce iron tools and leather coat.
Version 1.03 fix - Forgot a reference which could conflict with WildOats mod.
Feel free to comment. :)
wow looks awesome !!!!!!!!!
Very, very nice.
:)
Thanks!
Right now enjoying the game itself.
Haven't played in a long time. :)
Just couldn't resist 8)

You should try do some pallisades or something for that set, might be awesome. :)
Hi
@DesoPL !
CC has a superb palisade set, if you really want it.
It kind of doubles up if I come with a similar set.
Yeah, but, some people like me don't use CC.
I use CC, but i mean here some standalone. :)
Btw. Did i miss here only fishing hut or something?
There is a hunting perch in my forest! My favorite. Looks perfect. Thank you for this great stuff. What's in the boxes behind it? Ammo? =)
I have an idea for the Gatherer. Make the content not red but blue. Like the blueberries that they pick.
@DesoPL - You really got me this time! Of course they need a fishing shack!
My biggest problem is updating either rowhouses or forest houses with a
fisherman. Or neither, just make a standalone building. I'm thinking.
@Tom Sawyer - The crates are for transporting the hides, I suppose...
They never told me. ;D
Glad you like the hunting perch, it was your idea that I built upon.
You are perfectly right about blueberries, my mistake. But I think we can
live with red berries, at least until I make an update.
A fishing lodge I would also like to see. Not as a single mod, because it's no new feature. Just a new model. I think in Forest Outpost it makes no sense. Unless fish grow on trees.^^ I can well imagine the building in the smalltown mod. As a fishing pier with a small thatched shelter.
The funny hunting perch would also fit well your Smalltown Mod. Just like the new gatherer and the woodcutter. So it would be almost a complete theme in your small town style. But that's your decision.
I can live with the red berries. Then there are just wild strawberries or raspberries. Delicious.
Just popping in to say this looks great! You are doing good stuff here. Keep it up! :) and thank you!
I noticed that your small wooden houses have an upgrade-to-stone-house button, but, you don't mention anything about 3x3 stone houses in the mod description. Are there stone houses in there or not?
I just combine this with the Mini Buildings mod:
http://colonialcharter.com/index.php/forum/kralyergs-kave-of-krazy-kontraptions/2068-mini-buildings?limitstart=0
Really awesome little mod!
Please continue doing this, they look wonderful! :D
@Turis I am so sorry! :-[
That button totally slipped my mind.
I will fix it but I have to get something to eat.
Maybe you can live with it till tomorrow... zzz
Promise! :)
@Gordon Dry - I use Mini Buildings all the time.
In dense forest they are superb and if I have a new
settlement I try to have some roads (just a few)
and my forest buildings. I wanted to make my own
contribution to a new game, between mini and small.
(and I like more colors too)
Cheers!
Version 1.01 is up in download section!!! :)

OK. I was a bit over myself with the thought of a fishing shack.
There will be, in rowhouses, but now I try to figure out how to
make a trader for the rowhouses, one thing leads to another...
I just have to put the building in the water, easy eh?
At least something is going on. I hope to give more news later
in the rowhouse thread.
Excellent mod. Am having so much fun with this.
I thought the upgrade to stone house was intentional. I did it on a few of the houses, I had no issues with it. The Stone house sits nicely on 3x3 squares, if I put down decorations around the forest house first and then upgraded they would sit nice and snug next to the house.
But, well done 😊
This is an essential mod for me now. Makes mountain maps so much better.
Thanks for the berries. :)
Wonderful addition to Banished! Thanks so much.
Good work!
:) Tack Nilla!
Har inte sett förut att du är en landsman
@kid1293. Kul! :D
@Nilla - Jo, jag är en dryg skåning men det märks förhoppningsvis inte här. :)
@kid1293 and
@Nilla, do the unique letters for Scandinavian languages require a Scandinavian keyboard or do you know tricks for entering the unique letters in e-mail, etc. in some other way that might work on an (American) English keyboard? My word processor is multilingual, but I have a hard time getting the various European letters in e-mails.
@rkelly17 - You should at least see the letters, if not it's the site we're in that is
not handling them right. And yes, you need a scandinavian keyboard to put them
in the text. They're just an ordinary Windows character map.
@rkelly17 - update: You can remap your keyboard, just add another keyboard map (Windows)
and you can can always change with a click. But where the letters are placed on the keyboard
is maybe hard to find out. (Google keyboard map)
I use a trick when I write German, a language with other unique letters than we have. When I want it correct; I write my things in Word, "misspell" the words with these signs, let the spelling program make the correct changes and copies it into the mail.
But mostly it's not necessary. People here in Scandinavia or in Germany, who communicates with foreign people are used to the fact, that these signs are missing. But I can understand that it might be nice to at least write the names correct, if you are communicating with a Björn Åstrand in Göteborg or something like that.
I use windows character map and carefully, carefully copy-paste each character I need. :)

i use alot the ALT+code feature
I not sure why, but when i try activate mod in game. is instant crash. I've got 1.05 Banished beta.
DesoPL - I haven't heard of any problems with the mod.
There is no red flag with anything I am aware of.
I activate mods, save, exit and restart. Always works.
Is it a save-game?
Have you had Forest mod working before?
working fine for me in 105
Actually when i try activate mod in the mods sections. There is no description nothing. Only version of mod. And when i activate, game is crashing.
No description?
Sounds like you are running 1.04.
Are you on Steam?
There have been several posts about 1.05 and Steam.
I don't use Steam myself but if you are I think you have
to unsubscribe and download 1.05 manually...
Nope i am running on 1.0.5 beta.
???
@DesoPL - Beats me! I have no clue.
:D
Version 1.02 - added a new wall texture and made all textures a little sharper.
http://worldofbanished.com/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=96 (http://worldofbanished.com/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=96)
Got an OK from tanypredator to release Forest Outpost 1.02 Plus.
Her WildOats mod has been included and it fits very well with my
forest dwelling.
It's in the download as an extra download.
I recommend adding a small workshop able to build wooden, stone and crude tools(iron) for the forest outpost like in Toolmaker+ (http://banishedinfo.com/mods/view/17-Tool-Maker). The source files are available in the webpage.
@Turis - I'm sorry to spoil a good idea but I don't want to have red flag
because of NMT or CC. Of course I could just make tools and name them
different. But if you run NMT or CC there would been all sorts of tools
spread in all barns ... and so on.
Keep hitting me! :D
Well, what about a stand-alone mod? I could use the Toolmaker plus by itself, but, it would mean having to use the vanilla blacksmith instead of your own models as it wouldn't work on the rowhouse blacksmith nor the workshop in mini-buildings mod. And Kralyerg's Blacksmith tools mod requires iron ore for rough tools.
i wondered if u was goina expand on this idea/ series. how bout a FO style farmyrd like NM has?? REDKETCH makes rope, cloth, etc with flax with his mod. but farmers did other things by themself way back when.so did farmer wifes and kids. we canned, made sausage, etc. how bout a yrd that does cider, jams or mayb 1 that can do dairy butter/cheese and butcher pigs?? or u could do 1 for the hunter that tans hides n makes tools. some ideas probly arent compatable thou.just brainstormin......
@Turis - You make me interested!
I can not promise anything because I have NO idea what it
should look like.
Large - Small?
Open Area - Building?
A special style?
Nice - Well-worn?
@brads3 - That was a storm :)
I don't want to make a complete chain of manufacturing
for this mod. More like small adjustments.
It is a mini-start-easy-version that I use only at the very
beginning of a game. I don't think it is suited for a larger
settlement. If so, there should be more house variations,
doctor, school and you name it. It's too much.
Something like this:Tool shed (http://colonialcharter.com/index.php/forum/kralyergs-kave-of-krazy-kontraptions/1520-tool-shed). I don't use CC/NMT and this mod requires CC.
Well
@Turis ...
Something like this?
Forest Outpost 1.03 is in download.
Yes, something like that. :)
when are you going to release the new buildings?
@liberty152 - I just said that 1.03 is in the download.
And it is only one building. We will see if I can get myself
together and do more. Right now I am satisfied as it is.
Uploaded a fix for a conflict.
I forgot to delete a reference to tanypredator's WildOats
(which I included as a test in last version)
So both flagged red and it could stop game from
growing oats.
Her mod is outstanding as it is and
doesn't need more gatherers.

yes it is :)
This looks incredible. Thank you for your work.
