It would be good to have "roof wigs", like the coverings for stockpiles that Kid, Necora and Embx61 made, except to fit on roofs. It wouldn't work out for the multi level house roofs, but it would work for buildings such as some of Kid's Plimoth houses, colonial homes, and some others. With some of the thatched roofed houses, sometimes I wish they had a different roofing material. Other times, with Kid's Stone Buildings, I wish there was another color roof.
With "roof wigs", in some cases, there is no need to make whole new sets. Just new roofs. They could still be used as high covers on stock piles if desired.
Actually... That's not a bad idea, it could allow adding overhangs to place at home industries (like tiny workplaces). Or to modify the layout of a building. Let me think on this a bit.
