Yeah I am following this one pretty closely. I'd say it has some influences from Railroad Tycoon 3 and Transport Tycoon as well.
Can't see paying $35 for a game that may or may not be feature-complete...but I'll keep an eye out for a sale, for sure.
Being a train nut I couldn't resist. It's not bad--though not sure if it's worth the full $35 US. Game dynamics decent: passengers will travel if you set up good routes for them. So far I haven't done much with freight. Starts in 1855 in Europe. Like almost all games where you drag curved tracks it is almost impossible to make realistic sidings and passing tracks.
yeh, $35 usd is a big ask considering the state its in ... and if you play OTTD, even more so ;)
