The garlic keeps the plague away. Plague and vampires. ;D But seriously they are decorative only, they don't have any game effects at all.
Thank you to Kid for making this possible. I hope these little decorations make your towns feel a little more like home. The aim was to make some celebration and festival wreaths (wedding, births, funeral, spring and autumn/harvest) but the project sort of evolved on its own along the way.
They don't fit on every door on every building (that would need so many variants that it would break your F key and it would also send Kid insane) but there are still plenty of places you can put them. Please don't ask for them to be updated to fit on more doors. :)
This mod is best enjoyed with zoomhack. You'll see a lot more detail with zoomhack than with vanilla zoom, and not just on these decorations but on just about everything else, too. The amazing details on many of the buildings needs to be seen to be believed. Here are some pics for those of you who don't use zoomhack.
