Need a mod/admin....how do you stop it?

Instead of only deleting his account and posts, when you are in the mod controls, can't you do a full ban first- email, account name and IP, and then delete the account and posts? That's what I can do on my forum that uses this Simple Machines program. Of course, those spammers eventually find some other IP address, but it can help slow things down.
Yet another bot account deleted.
I hate it when people do that. Same person/org (from India?) left spam on BlackLiquidSoftware.com this a.m. Fortunately, all I have to do is go to their account and mark them as a Spammer. It automatically makes all of their posts not seen by the regular members and marks their account so they can't post anymore. Wonderfully simple.
Here I have the ability to delete their account and all their posts.

Oh, you don't have the permissions to do bans. It doesn't matter a whole lot since the spammers have more technology and knowledge now to use various IP addresses so banning one of them is just a minor inconvenience for them.
but there is not many spammers that can get through our security.
account maker bots cannot pass, it absolutely need someone on their servers to manually answer the question to activate their account which is very rare still.
me or Pilgrim we are here in case. the spams will never stay there for entire days ^^
I can do bans, it seems as though the deletion is enough as they keep changing ip address anyway.

when we delete, we have a feature , a checkbox, to delete ALL the post/replys made by this account that save alot of time.
very useful to make a very quick cleaning.
