North grass

Playing the North again, there appears to be a lot of grass that I can't mow, or get rid of and it blocks a lot of building space. Any thoughts of how to get rid of it?
REMEMBER: In games like Oblivion, Skyrim, Banished, etc, there IS NO WRONG WAY TO PLAY!!

thats Tom's grass. i have no idea how to resolve this
