Pine nuts

In a truly primitive setting, pine nuts are a staple. Eat them straight or roast them. Maybe along the lines of the hedgerows, or the farmyard patches, there could be a stand of pine trees to harvest the pine nuts from the cones. Should give protein, and fat/oils.  Just a suggestion.

Good way to get nuts into the diet without having to plant an orchard.

Have you tried CC Orchard Foresters it's in the download section, Kidd also has something similar in one of his mods but without checking I can't remember which set it's in.

Yeah, I have all Kid's fruit and nut mods. I just like Pine Nuts and thought a small patch of Pine Trees to provide pinecones for harvesting would be kinda nice. That's all!!
