Bartender

I'm currently on a field trip so nodding is on hold for a week, but I'll continue this when I get back ;). I've almost completely figured out the code bits, the rest is just implementation.

Don't forget about this, please. :)

I haven't forgotten about this ;)! I'm just having a bit of trouble with the coding.. I got some sounds working, but not reliably.. sometimes they don't play, and their location also seems to change randomly.. I'll need to study it a bit more I'm afraid :P.

Just a reminder, no rush, @Bartender  :) that sounds like some progress, thank you.

It's a pity that this didn't move forward and find a solution. I was excited reading about including sounds for certain animals. I even paused to create some really cool and different sounds.

I was really disappointed that Bartender didn't stick with this, he was so close.

Having sound file on an invisible spot or small marker would have been more useful than added to a building, especially now that we have so many mods.  For instance, if a church bell sound were added to a chapel, player would be limited to building that chapel model if they wanted the sound, no matter whether that chapel matched with whatever other mods were being used; there are many beautiful churches and chapels, updating not feasible.

Many sounds would not go on a building, wolf howl, an owl, etc.

I see there are now sites that have free wav sound effects.

It is good to know that old info is still being read, Thanks to @kralyerg for saving WOB site.  :)

Hi!
When I was reading this topic I even paused and went straight to my music creation program to create some effects, but when I jumped to the last page I discovered it didn't go forward (or didn't progress / didn't come to fruition). The annoying thing is that the files and the process could have been shared with the community instead of just saying that it was being done and giving results.
