Well !

almost ready to realese tommorow or later this morning....

only optimizing the final building from all unnecessary polygons (faces which we will never see) left to do :)
oh and test the number of food / year.

I'll go for 12,000 food / year (3000/year per worker, up to 4)

Water go down is amazing

Looking at the water going down the building is so captivating lol  ;D

It looks stunning as it is, but it'll be even more beautiful 'live' once I see the water flowing in the game. Can't wait for that.

RedKetchup

Sorry for the delay ... a few little issues, but it is all set now :)

Gonna upload NOW :)

Hanging Gardens V1.0 by Red Ketchup

https://worldofbanished.com/index.php?action=downloads;sa=view;down=730

Desc.: Hanging Gardens. The Hanging Gardens of Babylon were one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World listed by Hellenic culture. They were described as a remarkable feat of engineering with an ascending series of tiered gardens containing a wide variety of trees, shrubs, and vines, resembling a large green mountain constructed of mud bricks. It was said to have been built in the ancient city of Babylon, near present-day Hillah, Babil province, in Iraq.

Comment: Hanging Gardens, This is my 6th Wonder made for Banished and it is my most beautiful one i created. This model will have a very luxurian look with tons of vegetation and flowing water that go down the building in magnificient waterfalls. It is really a wonder.

I left a comment on the download page and wanted to share it here too: It looks fantastic!!! Having water and fire elements in a single building of this magnitude is really eye-catching. I kept watching the workers, and it's so fun to see the production crates appearing inside the Wonder. I spent a while rotating the building, admiring it from every angle and from above. I built it next to a river, and it was such a beautiful sight—it fits the concept perfectly.

RedKetchup

it is effectively the most beautiful model i ever made for Banished. The summum of my art LOL ^^

Great work!
What is the final polygon count? Huge?

RedKetchup

yeah 30k cause the trees and flower. but it cover a tons of tiles. 15x18= 270 tiles square.

we can have a lot of trees and things in a forest of 270 tiles, so in fact it is not that much more.
and we dont put 200 of those neither in a game, it is not like little house and building which we can put 15 of those in a small area of 20x20, if they have 2k polygons each , thats also 30k total too.

so with time i learn it is more about polygons_per_tile that count.
