Sorry for the jpeg. I might have known that. I found that the game renders the textures very soft and sharp painting brings a nice effect, much more than a higher resolution and without a loss of performance. But too much is obviously not nice. That's right. No one should be injured on sharp textures. ;D

Here's what I have been brutally trying to yield.
There is no way to make a diagonal rowhouse, I have been trying for days
to get footprints to stop people from walking through the walls.
I had to sacrifice a lot of each house footprint and because of that the little
people walk through the walls (see picture).
I keep the idea somewhere in the back of my head, but for now I just can't
make it work.

@kid1293      Before you change your Blacksmith, line up all the blacksmith buildings in the game, including the tiny ones and CC's water set.    Buildings really vary in size and I don't find your buildings too small at all.    Yes, there's a definite variance in size between our great modders, but if you have regions in your game like Paeng does, they all work and the different sizes are useful.

Hi purringcat! I know about sizes and I feel I have done the blacksmith justice
by giving him at least a workplace. I want to keep it small. After all it's your
choice to mix and build whichever building you want.
I hope you don't mind I don't want to upgrade him right now. DesoPL was
very vague about what he wanted so I take it easy. :)

Hi Kid    I love your small buildings and have them everywhere.    Am really enjoying the new forestry buildings and their larger range.   Especially in the early game, they look more real ... like RL if you're stranded in a new land.

please don't change anything we have choices now and its great---rural starting small ---larger town bigger ---what else could you ask for??-just my 2 cents

The first picture shows how I tried to overlap the houses with roadtiles
and in reality made a road for them through the buildings.
Next picture I halved the footprint but 'locked' the way through overlapping.
They still run right through the buildings.

yeah some house have roadtiles that shouldnt be there which make a connection by tiles corners (roadtile at 100% inside the house in first screenshot)
and in the 2nd screenshot, sometimes 30%-50% of the mesh is in fact an overlap over other ghost tiles (kinda like NMT houses)

what if you put another door the other side of the mesh ? the citizens would look like they use that door insted the other main door. (like a back door)

Yes, I thought of putting another door in the back, but the problem is
they try to sneak into the house where two houses meet. And more
annoying is that they use the house as a shortcut to the other side.
How would you like having people running through your house
on their way to work?  >:(

edit: I have one more option with the footprints. I will try later today
(a lot of moving meshes and building .fbx)

Just downloaded. It works.

@RedKetchup - It was a combination of many errors that made people
walk thru walls. I was responsible for some. In all this I actually gave
up and didn't save and backup. I just continue changing things.

Now (first picture) I have a blocking footprint in all houses but it
comes with a high cost. No road, no ordinary footprint, but footprint
does not 'spill over' into other areas any longer and it is working.  :)

Second picture show the little people behaving. They go around the
houses. All but one, he is idling and just wandered away. Since
there are no ordinary footprints things like this happens.
He does not believe in walls.  ;D

And people go through big rocks all the time...

no worries, till the house isnt 100% build and all path in progress of all citizens arent finished yet they are allowered to go stand and walk in the footprints of buildings.

That's the problem. That house is ready!
I just copied build01 to build02 and mesh to get the size and placement.
I am working on the real mesh now.
