i am still working on this :)

While I am making some line codes for the merchants/trains buying/selling... i do a lot of files adjustments and maintenances.

i kinda almost finished the food part (bakery and creamly files left) and gonna proceed after for the other materials.
I have nothing to show for the present.

Hello all

LOL I am starting to wonder if I should make a 2nd food Merchant ^^ an Advanced Food Merchant because the Food Merchant file is starting to be so HUGE about its list of food you can sell ^^ I don't know if the game allow a such huge file for listing :P

I am gonna see how it looks and how the game will respond to it wen i will have finished and try to compile :D

Alright, i made a copy/paste of the Food merchants lists. I decided to split the Food Merchant into 2 Merchants. List is way too long.

As you can see in the screenshot, i kinda splited 2/3rd and 1/3rd moving all the Advanced Food resources to the 2nd Merchant.

There is so many food resources, This is unbelievable. and, LOL, i will probably add a few ^^ cause i am missing some important ones.

Also, i am planing to add a new industry to craft "Crate" resource. they will take lumber and craft crates. and it will be used for selling your resources in those ChooChoo merchants :)

I am counting : 71 food in the 1st Merchant and 57 food in the 2nd Merchant = a total 128.

Hi All.

I did the 3rd and 4th Merchant buildings : Utility Export Merchant and the Logistics Merchant (end game tier products) lists.

It took long but thats alright. I've got to change a lot of prices. When we sell things, it should always on a 600 coins baseline. Why 600 and not 100? 500? 1000? this is because i stated years ago that 600 offered the best list of multipliers. When you try to divise that number you need real multipliers without getting fractions. So i did found out 600g was the best without being too big or too small (600x1g, 300x2g, 150x4g, 120x5g, 100x6g, 75x8g, 60x10g, etc....)

so for one it cannot take a value of 7 or 9 for example nor it should exceed 600g (like most of jewelries) i will have to check to maybe do some balances in the crafting to compensate :P i will do that later.


The lists should be look like those screenshots.

The difference at the end is i want us to use "crates" instead of logs or coal. So i will work next for a Crates Builder Industry :)

The Crate Makers Builting now is done and is in RKEC, i changed all the ChooChoo Merchants to use Crates to send and sell Goods by trains to other cities :)

New RKEC Industry building: The Crate Makers.
This industry are taking 2 lumbers and 1 iron and are making a new resource : Crate (8 to 12 crates per craft) They have a value of 2g each crate. They cost 16g to craft and an educated worker can get 12 crates per craft (24g value total).

It is not a very good way to make money but it is more intended to be used to sell other things.

The resource Crate is now used by the merchants at Rail Stations from the mod ChooChoo which is now included in the RKEC Mod.
The Building has a footprint of 7 tiles per 6 tiles and cost 32 logs, 24 stones and 8 irons to build. You can assign up to 2 workers to this building,

You will find this building inside the Advanced Resource Toolbar.

I think it is a very nice addition to RKEC :)

New Grain Silo (New model of the old one)

I redid a new model for my old Grain Silo :) That silo was one of my first thing created and was using some warcraft texture used without permision :P

very superb now :)

This Grain Silo only store grains and has an high capacity of storage : 50,000
It has a footprint of 6 per 8 tiles and cost 48 lumber and 12 stone to build.

REMEMBER: In games like Oblivion, Skyrim, Banished, etc, there IS NO WRONG WAY TO PLAY!!

At first I thought of some kind of Pub, but due to the size, I discarded the idea. Do you already have a building that produces ceramics? It could be a place that manufactures ceramic materials.

Someone on my Facebook Group, Banished-Nation asked for a old worn model of it with painting fading away ...
