(Mod request) diagonal deco & Insta-fence.

Hello all,
I'm back in Bannieland and THRILLED with all the new mods! Kid's new farmyards are my favorite! I still just had the original 5-6. Also fairyland? I think it is? SO CUTE!

One thing I realize I'm always trying to make happen is putting deco/farm patches near my diagonal houses. Would it be possible to create diagonal Farmyards, chicken coops, tiny sheds, log piles, flower beds, etc?

The other thing that I feel takes from my enjoyment is building fencing. It's slow, and I often mess up and have to start over!

My wish is for like, 3 standard sizes of front yard fencing you could just drop in front of a house, like 5 x 3 with three sides, 4x2 with 3 sides, etc.

(Like a U so that it's open at the house part.)

One more request - Back doors! There used to be one is a mod pack by DS with a brick building set, but its not in mega mod 9.

I have two mods that I can't find the links for right now. They allow you to create plantations starting from a single square on the map, and you can place them in a straight line. The mods are SJGL_Lawn and SJGL_Rough_Lawn. As soon as I find the links, I'll post them here.

My apologies! After reading your post more carefully, I realized I might have sent some links that aren't exactly what you're looking for. I got a bit ahead of myself trying to help!
I'll leave the links there anyway just in case, but I'll do a deeper search for those diagonal farmyards and 'U-shaped' fences when I'm back later today.

About the fences: do you mean pre-made fences in those 'U' sizes that you can just drop in place without having to build them piece by piece?
Regarding diagonal farms, I believe it's the same issue we have with diagonal roads, but even more restrictive. The crops need to grow on full squares because the map is made of an invisible grid. Each tile is a solid square that can't be 'cut' diagonally. Any attempt to make a diagonal farm will always result in 'jagged' or 'stepped' edges.

As far as the diagonal farms, I think it would be ok that they were not perfect. If there were just one or 2 trees on the jagged or janky side, that would visually work. This is how I get around the issue now when using the DS Fulbright housing and making a nice curve. The KID Fruits and nuts mod can be positioned in this way, but it's actually a little big for most of my spaces.

Kid's Bakery garden mod has tiny plots (2 x3) that I drop in, then I even it out with a few well placed deco pieces. More tiny plots that could be stacked up so that each row was one grid square over would totally work! I think the main thing is having it be ok that there's a blank grid square.

If I can figure out how to post a screenshot, I'll show you what I mean!

sadly, in RKEC there is tons of fence of all colors and all shapes, even made from all material, and they all have diagonals.

Indeed, RK! And I use a ton of them. One of the things I love best about your fencing is almost all of them have an Edge of tile option, which I find makes everything fit so much better! And you have the best gates.

which mod you use ? from RKEC ? or ... i didnt made a special fences-only mod ? or .... a decoration mod with fences-included ?

Right now I'm using mega mod 9, which has ALL the RK versions of everything.
