Runic Circle

Tired of the same old yellow circles? Give your banished settlers a mystical aura.

This mod replaces the standard selection ring with a ethereal, light blue runic design. Whether you're planning a new blacksmith or checking on your foresters, do it with a touch of ancient magic.

The runes feature a crisp, pale blue energy—almost white—providing a clean and mystical look to your UI.

This is a small cosmetic tweak I made for fun, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

I've never tried to change the circles, though I know people have changed their color before. I confess I kinda want to make one with the script of the one ring (from The Lord of the Rings). No idea what for, but...

If I use the exact font used in the One Ring, it will be impossible, as the font 'bleeds' too much upwards and downwards. Even then, I'd have to repeat the phrase around the ring instead of just once, because there's an invisible wall (clipping) that cuts off anything exceeding a certain limit inside and outside the circle. Those ornate, decorative parts will be lost in that cut. I've already tried with a very cool rune pattern using different margins, and the result was always an ugly, jagged cut.

I set everything up correctly with the phrase 'Ash nazg durbatulûk, ash nazg gimbatul, ash nazg thrakatulûk agh burzum-ishi krimpatul', but the result is always ugly.

"Ash nazg durbatulûk, ash nazg gimbatul, ash nazg thrakatulûk agh burzum-ishi krimpatul".

Ah disappointing that it doesn't work out quite right. Maybe I should try fiddling with it to see what would work...
