One thing I love about the River's Huts set that Red made for me, is the blacksmith ability to just make iron direct from iron ore, which helps a lot when playing the North/Survivor mode.

Is there any other blacksmith, set or standalone, that does that without having to jump thru hoops (several steps to make iron)??

with the Blacksmith Tool mod, a couple will make "rough tools" but tge tiiks are kiwer quakity than the iron tools. KIDD has a few blacksmiths that will do that.


not quite the same but as close as there is. the DS Industry mod does have a smelter that does that but it is a huge mod for just that part.
